About this show

THE TUDORS will present the rarely dramatized, tumultuous early years of King Henry VIII's nearly 40-year, omnipotent reign (1509-1547) of England. In addition to his famous female consorts, a 20+ year marriage to Catherine of Aragon and the infamous dalliance with Anne Boleyn, the series delves into Henry's most notable political relationship and the deconstruction of the Roman Catholic Church in England.

Is not very accurate of history. With that being said, this is one of the best series there has ever been on TV. *Spoiler alert* below : The 3rd seaon isn't very exciting and it felt as though the writers didn't know which "alternate" history path they wanted to take.

Love the series. Johnathan Rhys Myers is extremely hot and plays king to a tee. I actually looked up the history of king Henry and it is very close to the actual history. I have the series on Netflix and have already watched all four seasons and started watching it again right afterwards. It is that addictive
