1 Tests of Loyalty
11/22/22
After being apprehended in Mexico, Keith Raniere and his inner circle await trial. While prosecutor Moira Penza and defense attorney Marc Agnifilo prep their cases, Nicki Clyne and Michele Hatchette begin their own defense of DOS and Keith, giving their perspective on NXIVM. Keith’s co-defendants flip – including NXIVM co-founder Nancy Salzman, who sits for an interview.
2 Rapport
11/22/22
On house arrest, Nancy tells how Keith recruited her – persuading her that together they could achieve her long-time goal of helping people create lasting personal growth. From that pitch, NXIVM was born. At the trial, the prosecution calls "Sylvie" as its first witness, and Mark Vicente takes the stand.
3 Stimulus and Response
11/22/22
Nancy discusses how she and Keith developed a treatment for symptoms of Tourette’s. While Marc Elliot recalls how the treatment changed his life and cemented his loyalty to NXIVM, Isabella Constantino tells a very different story. Later, Nancy's daughter and Keith’s confidant Lauren Salzman takes the stand...for the prosecution.
4 The Breach
11/22/22
During her testimony, Lauren reveals the decades of manipulation she endured from Keith – who promised her a baby if she overcame her "ethical breach" – and how her unwavering devotion to the NXIVM leader led her down a dark and painful path.
5 The Room
11/22/22
After a family moved from Mexico to Albany to pursue the NXIVM lifestyle, all three daughters were groomed by Keith. On the stand, middle daughter "Dani" details the coercive abuse she endured, including being isolated in a room for two years with Lauren as her guard.
6 Crime and Punishment
11/22/22
After Keith's abuses of Dani's sister "Cami" are detailed through disturbing text messages, Keith's trial ends with a guilty verdict. As NXIVM's critics rejoice, Keith's remaining supporters regroup. After "Cami" and others give victim impact statements, Keith is sentenced to 120 years. Following the trial, Nancy examines her role as she awaits her own sentencing.
