The Wanted Life

In the series premiere, the members of the UK boy band The Wanted and their girlfriends all relocate to Los Angeles and move into a mansion together. Although the goal of coming to California is to record their highly anticipated new album, it isn't long before partying and an unexpected health scare threaten the band's continued success.

When the band books a gig in Las Vegas, management declares it a "boys-only" bonding trip, which doesn't sit too well with Siva and his girlfriend Nareesha. Meanwhile, Nathan's been having serious trouble with his throat, and a visit to the doctor results in a shocking diagnosis. Then, tension grows when Siva abruptly disappears after the group's performance in Vegas.

The group has an appearance at CHOC with Ryan Seacrest and gives a special acoustic concert for the patients. The band then decides to do something to give back for their Wanted World fans. When they propose doing either paintball or bringing a small group of fans to their house for a barbecue, Siva shares his concerns with the guys. Meanwhile, Nathan's voice continues to get worse and the doctor orders him to be silent for another couple weeks.

The band gets invited to their most important U.S. performance yet--at the White House! Allegedly a fan of The Wanted, the First Lady asks them to sing during the famous Easter Egg Roll on the South Lawn. However, Nathan is still under strict orders not to strain his voice, so Jay is forced to cover his solos--but during rehearsals, Nano witnesses that Jay's vocals aren't quite up to par. For a quick fix, Nano sets an appointment for Jay to meet with a vocal coach--which doesn't sit too well with Jay. All things aside, will the boys pull off a perfect performance for the First Family and nearly 30,000 guests?

Taking advantage of his single status in Los Angeles, Max carelessly invites whomever he pleases into The Wanted's mansion. However, after a few unexpected late night guests, everyone in the house begins to question their safety--and Nareesha starts nagging the boys to keep their partying to a minimum while she tries to sleep and work on her shoe line. Plus, the band shoots their video for their new single, but not all of them are happy with the final results.

The band is in need of some rest, relaxation and sunny beaches! They book a gig down in the Bahamas, but also plan on enjoying some time off while soaking in the rays. But first, Jay's glaring white body could use a preemptive tan, so the boys hire spray tanners to get him prepped for beach attire. Plus, the trip coincides with Nathan's birthday so everyone is ready to party! However, for one band member, the vacation is cut short and possibly even their career.

In the season finale, Nathan leaves the Bahamas to undergo emergency surgery on his vocal cords. With his mom by his side, Nathan is optimistic about the results, but worries about missing out on months of performances. Later, the band travels back to the UK for a show at the historical Wembley Stadium, but Nathan's vocal coach warns that the timeframe could be too soon and perhaps could do more harm to his voice. The band's future seems even more in jeopardy when Max lands a movie role and Siva no longer has the support of girlfriend Nareesha while on tour. Is this the end for The Wanted?
