Thomas is given the special of being the Sodor Search and Rescue Engine for the day. He is to collect Bertie, the SSRC Rescue Truck from the Steamworks and then they will work at the SSRC together.
2 Spencer The Grand

It is a very foggy day on Sodor. All the engines are asked to stay at Tidmouth Sheds by the Fat Controller. Spencer wants to get back to the Duke and Duchess's Summerhouse rather than stay at Tidmouth Sheds.
3 Gordon and Ferdinand

The Fat Controller tells Bash, Dash and Ferdinand that they are to be given a reward to welcome them to his railroad. First of all Ferdinand is to be given the reward of sharing Gordon's special.
4 Charlie and Eddie

Edward tries to show Charlie that he is a really fun engine instead of doing his job properly. Edward decides to be called Eddie for the day and races along the tracks telling Charlie jokes. Charlie thinks Eddie is so funny. A big mistake occurs when Edward takes the Fat Controller's car to the Steamworks by mistake.
5 Henry's Health and Safety

Victor explains the meaning of Health and Safety to Henry while he is visiting the Steamworks. Henry decides that he needs to make sure that everything is safe on Sodor. The problem is that Henry keeps changing things that are already safe. He takes Rocky to move telegraph poles from the tracks which are safely there to be collected by Percy, and Henry even gets Rocky to lift Percy off the tracks.
6 Diesel's Special Delivery

It's a rainy day on Sodor and Diesel has been asked to bring slate to the school. Diesel decides that he wants to bring something more exciting than slate for the children. He wants the children to clap and cheer when they see him. Diesel brings a truck of shiny red apples but when the children see the apples they are unhappy.

Uh-oh… The engines on the Island of Sodor sometimes find themselves in some sticky situations! Thomas and Butch find themselves stuck when they don't listen to directions. Spencer gets lost in the fog but learns he can actually be ‘Spencer the Helpful’. Gordon must swallow his pride after dropping the Lion of Sodor in the mucky, muddy river and Edward shows Charlie there's a time to be Really Fun, and a time to be Really Useful! All aboard for fun-filled tales as friends help each other through all kinds of sticky situations!
