This comedy series follows an odd twosome who are reluctantly living together. Young couple Angie and Nick Tyler have just had a baby; with added expenses mounting up they decide to rent their basement flat. The pair find their prospective tenants in the form of their own parents, Nick's father Sam and Angie's mother Daphne. Finding it difficult to decide who should take the flat, the widowed grandparents are forced to share. After their initial spats, the in-laws become rather fond of each other and romance ensues.
