LOST: ONE GREAT DETECTIVE SHOW WITH A KICK ASS FEMALE LEAD CHARACTER Long time Marshmallow here. I loved Seasons 1-2, the movie, and the two books. This new season IS NOT VERONICA MARS we loved. Rob did a bait and switch moving from the loved format to a very dark "noir" Style. AND WHO IS THIS VERONICA MARS??? She is not the same character-barely likable in this season. Watching it will ruin the whole franchise for you. The ending goes for maximum shock value and will leave you angry. The plot is lazy writing as it has huge plot holes what just doesn't make sense. In fact the "who done it" is just plain laughable. Rob seems intent on subjecting Veronica to yet the same trauma theme that is just plain stale at this point and reeks of misogyny. You will find some of the old funny sarcastic lines we come to expect. And you be happy Veronica gets her pony. But these moments are dimmed in context of the agony of the whole season. It just doesn't feel like it flows or fits. I Will Miss my old favorite show. But wish I had never seen this season that ruined it all for me..Rob burned a 15 year cult fandom in this revival-especially the last ten minutes. Signed, a burnt marshmallow

I went back and watched this show during the Pandemic and I got so hooked! I never watched it when it was on but it's actually a good storyline & I love Kristen Bell. There was a lot of stuff that wasn't ok for high school at all. no spoilers! I didn't make it all the way to the last season when they were older. I was kinda over it at that point. Maybe I'll go back one day.. The theme song gets stuck in my head sometimes. Anyway, If you're looking for a bit of nostalgia & sleuthing here ya go!

An unbelievable amount of harsh language and sex talk. This isn't high school Veronica. Be warned. We loved the first three seasons. This was a dissapointment - we wasted our money.
