When four people are slaughtered at night in a fortified tailor's workshop, the East End is gripped with fear and panic at this seemingly impossible, gruesome crime. As Chandler, Miles and the team attend the christening of Miles's daughter a fox runs through Whitechapel with a human arm in its mouth. More body parts from the same victim are found washed up by the Thames all containing evidence of brutal poisoning. With only a star tattoo to go from on the headless torso the team find it hard to identify their victim. Will Chandler crack the case before the killer strikes again?

When traces of the aphrodisiac 'Spanish Fly' are found in the victims Chandler, Miles and the team question what sort of killer they could be up against. The team are taken to the heart of dark obsessions where romance and love take a more sinister turn.

When a babysitter is murdered and a dangerous patient and former Whitechapel resident escapes from a psychiatric unit, the area becomes the focus of a series of terrifying events in quick succession. Chandler, Miles and the team must act fast as they fear a masked spree killer is on the loose. Chandler's quest to bring in a suspect alive jeopardises his relationship with Miles.

With the body count rising, Miles and Chandler clash over the direction of the investigation. Having already survived the killer's wrath once, Counsellor Morgan Lamb is of particular interest to the team. However, Chandler has more than a vested interest in ensuring she is kept alive. As the chase escalates will Miles and Chandler be able to put their differences aside in the face of their toughest adversary yet?
