Jack joins a herd of seals who walk in very funny way. They take him fishing and then he meets all kinds of scary and enchanting underwater creatures.

Jack tries to join a herd of deer, but quickly learns that only one deer is allowed to be in charge. Making friends with hares is difficult too, but then some ladybirds show him how they overcome their differences.

About this show

Jack's a 5-year-old animated adventurer who explores real British wildlife. He lives in a city but is transported into a new habitat each episode - he tries to learn to fly with birds, join a deer herd, keep up with a fox, find an otter and swim with seals! Using his magic ability to talk to the animals, Jack immerses himself in their lives. He often gets into scrapes, but Grandpa (played by TV Naturalist Chris Packham) is there to keep him safe and explain the animals more baffling behaviour!
