Years and Years

Series premiere. The Lyons family gathers in 2019 to celebrate a milestone, but as life accelerates forward five years, a call from their sister Edith brings unsettling news from abroad.

With the world still reeling from the events of Hong Sha, Edith returns home for good but harbours a secret about what really happened while she was abroad; Stephen and Celeste face a very modern nightmare.

As Stephen and Celeste try to rebuild their shattered lives, Daniel's world turns upside down when Viktor is forced to flee from Kiev. Edith's former life as an activist calls her back into action. Rosie loses her job to fully-automated food service.

As events heat up across Europe, Daniel embarks on a quest to bring Viktor home, with help from Edith. Rosie sets up her own business with new boyfriend, Jonjo. With her suspicions confirmed, Celeste exposes Stephen's secret life to the family.

A new Britain begins to take shape with Viv Rook as Prime Minister. Edith tries to investigate mysterious stories about The Disappeared, while Rosie finds her estate fenced off by the privatized police.

Series finale. As Viv Rook’s regime tightens its grip, the entire Lyons family fights back. Rosie stands up to the troops surrounding her home and takes radical action with Lincoln’s help.
