1 Two Heads Are Better Than One
3/18/18
This week on Dr. K’s Exotic Animal ER, the clinic treats exotic pets with some unusual cases. First, a kangaroo named Kalin comes in for an ultrasound after her owners discover she may be pregnant. Then, Dr. K treats Marble, a four-day-old goat, that hasn’t been eating. She gives the newborn goat around-the-clock care as the little newborn fights for survival. Meanwhile, Dr. T sees an 8-foot Burmese python brought in for possibly being egg-bound. Finally, Dr. K takes a 1-year-old mouse into surgery to remove a mysterious mass, and the vet staff is shocked when a client brings in a baby snake with two heads.
2 Sushi Eating Squirrel Monkey
3/25/18
Dr. K’s clinic is busy with curious exotic animal cases. From a sushi eating squirrel monkey, to a mystery linking a cockatiel and ceramic statue and a pregnant rabbit taking up residence in the bathroom! The vet staff goes into “bunny watch” mode as a pregnant rabbit builds a nest and prepares to deliver. Dr. T x-rays a goat statue to see if it is the cause of a cockatiel’s illness and a badly behaving squirrel monkey comes in for a neuter and goes home with a better diet.
3 Cock-a-Doodle-Don't
4/1/18
The tables are turned when Dr. T's bunny suffers a life-threatening illness. Blood tests and x-rays reveal a potentially serious liver issue and he is taken to surgery. Also, a young macaw is born with his knee on backwards and Dr. K attempts an intense procedure to correct the issue. A 6-year-old guinea pig prolapses, and her owners are faced with a life or death decision, and a rooster presents with a mystery illness causing lameness in both legs.
4 A Magic Rabbit Act
4/8/18
This week, the doctors have their hands full with a tortoise blood transfusion, a goose with a gaping neck wound, a magic rabbit trying to pull a disappearing act. Hercules, a 22-year-old tortoise, comes in for not eating and Dr. K contemplates a blood transfusion using her own tortoise as the blood bank. A 10-year-old magician’s rabbit goes into surgery to remove a mass and doesn’t want to wake up, and a goose with a gaping neck wound challenges Dr. T and the staff.
5 Pig Improvement
4/15/18
With two emergencies and two surgeries, it is a busy day at Dr. K’s clinic! Bambi, a 7-year-old Nigerian Dwarf goat has been in labor for 24 hours. Dr. K performs an ultrasound and is unable to see any signs of life and takes Bambi in for an emergency C-section. Douglas, an 8-month-old male sugar glider, comes in lethargic and unable to eat. Bacon Bits, a 2-year-old sassy potbellied pig has irritated eyes and Dr. K determines that a “pig eyelift” is the solution.
6 Great Eggspectations
4/22/18
From a limping potbellied pig to a toucan that flew the coup, to a trio of squabbling roosters, Dr. K and her staff have their hands full with unusual exotic animal cases that are difficult to solve. Dallas the potbellied pig proves that a simple grooming can make a pig walk proud again. Felipe, a sleepy toucan, gets the attention he needs to feel like flying, and Delilah, a bearded dragon, is stubborn to give up her eggs, until faced with surgery.
7 My Ferret Ate What?
4/29/18
The doctors hone their detective skills as they solve a pigeon’s mystery mass, find a foreign object inside a ferret and save a hedgehog from a severe dog attack. Smokey, a feisty ferret, has swallowed something that is causing an intestinal blockage and Dr. K must operate to remove the foreign object. Crazy Bird, a ten-year-old pigeon, also has something in her stomach. Dr. T decides to operate to remove the infected mass. Sephi, a hedgehog attacked by a dog, undergoes an emergency procedure to close a massive wound on her head.
8 A Perfect Storm
5/6/18
Following a recent hurricane, the clinic fills up with clients including an escaped tortoise hit by a car and a 2-year-old macaw that can’t breathe. Mini Me, a severe macaw, has been acting dumpy and hasn’t eaten for a couple of days. Dr. T is concerned and wants to keep Mini Me in the hospital overnight. George the sulcata tortoise is rushed in after being crushed by a car! His wounds are severe and life threatening, Dr. K works quickly to assess the extensive damage and perform emergency surgery.
9 Ferret Freak Out!
5/13/18
Sheldon, an eleven-month-old pig, gorged himself on dog food and comes in vomiting. Sheldon has eaten so much that he is at risk for abdominal obstruction, or even rupture. Vet Tech Dyanne brings her bunny, Keiko, in so Dr. K can investigate a tooth infection likely caused by anti-biotic beads installed during a surgery last year. And chinchilla Prince comes in with an irritated, crusty eye. Dr. T gets to the root of the problem.
10 Call of Doodie!
5/20/18
A macaw with a mysterious mass has Dr. K going beyond the call of duty, while Dr. T gets a visit from a tiny tortoise who lost a fight with a pit bull puppy. Then, a rabbit with cheek trouble challenges the staff, and Dr. K gets a special visit from a helpful pig with a super sniffer.

Awesome show. I love most of the vet/pet shows but Dr K covers everything that ISNT a cat or dog. Plus the show covers some of the different problems that those animals can have and how to deal with them. ..and a reminder that they all need regular vet well visits as well as a knowledgeable owners.... not to mention don't wait until your pet is on deaths door before you take them in !!

Love everyone who works there and is on the show. Dr.K's story, beginning from her childhood- to her success with her vet clinics/Hosp, is wonderful to hear about. We felt it was really nice of her to invite viewers to meet her dad and some of her children. Love the other vets & techs as well.
