The Kielys and Hennessys, Red Rock’s feuding families, have a bitter history with no love-lost between them. The Hennessys are well respected and the Kielys petty criminals, out to cause trouble, or so it seems. Following an attack on Darren Kiely things look set to spiral out of control.

Surprise return-Bridget Kiely, mother to Katie, Keith and Darren, and ex wife of Vincent, returns to Red Rock after living in the UK for the last number of years.She’s set to cause trouble for the family and relations are strained between her and her daughter Katie, not to mention her ex-husband. She wants revenge on the Hennessys and it looks like she will draft in son Keith to help with her plans.

As James McKay and Claire Hennessy make their way to the hospital, things don’t look good. Bridget Kiely remains intent on getting revenge on the Hennessys. After signing in at the station, Michael Hennessy meets up with his twin brother David & tells him the Gardaí wants to speak to him. As Keith Kiely plans to attack David, he doesn’t bank on catching his sister Katie with him.

After discovering the man they treated is dying; Garda Sharon Cleere and Angela Tyrell must decide whether or not to tell him his daughter has died. David Hennessy must decide whether to attend Darren Kiely’s wake/funeral. Despite saying he’ll stay away, David Hennessy shows up at the funeral and causes hurt for the Kiely family who are less than pleased at his presence.

A mystery woman causes trouble for Garda Sharon Cleere and Paudge. As they investigate further, they discover something that could land them in hot water. Sexual tension hits Red Rock as Liam tries to keep things professional and business-like with café landlord Patricia Hennessy. Elsewhere, Bridget has her sights set on winning back ex-husband and she won’t take no for an answer.

Katie lands on her feet with some good news. However problems arise that could ruin her chances. Patricia is fuming over a financial issue at the pub and she knows who’s to blame. Sharon and Paudge finally solve the mystery of the woman, and they find the culprit of another crime. Sharon begins to piece things together about McGonigle and her worst fears are confirmed.

Patricia Hennessy suspects it was Katie Kiely who took the money from the pub and reports her to the Gardaí but when questioned, Katie, is adamant she is not the culprit. Meanwhile, Sharon shows partner Paudge the CCTV footage of Brian kissing a schoolgirl in his car but he wants nothing to do with it. As Paudge turns a blind eye, Sharon is uncertain about what to do.

Sharon finally confronts Brian with the CCTV footage of him kissing a schoolgirl but he denies everything. Michael Hennessy puts pressure on his brother David to end his relationship with Katie. David reluctantly agrees and promises to end their love affair. But, will David be able to stay away? Meanwhile a frustrated Paudge is forced to buy back his tenant Tony’s debt.

As Bridget bags up Darren’s belongings, grief overwhelms her, but a shocking discovery leaves her stunned. At the station Brian makes Sharon’s skin crawl when he talks about “sticking together” and “covering backs”. Problems continue at the Neptune café and Liam goes to sort things out with Patricia. Meanwhile Sharon and Paudge encounter trouble while on a call out at a flat complex.

The two matriarchs finally come face to face in a piercing showdown at the pub and Bridget tells Patricia a few home truths which leaves Patricia reeling. A fire is discovered in the flat and following on from the drama Angela is taken to hospital. Brian’s sinister side is revealed when he crosses the line and takes his frustrations out on a suspect.

Patricia Hennessy is left fuming when she discovers David has been lying and is heading away for the night with Katie Kiely, and it seems it’s not just David that is being dishonest, as McKay discovers when he heads to the hospital with Claire. Back at the station Sean and Adrijan deal with a woman whose car has been stolen, however all is not as it seems with the woman.

Armed with the knowledge that David is away with Katie Kiely, Patricia corners Michael and he has no choice but to start giving answers. David is summoned home to face the music. The truth finally comes out about the night of Darren Kiely’s death but Patricia is determined to protect Michael and the trio make a pact to keep what they know a secret, from everyone, including Claire.

Brian comes under scrutiny when a serious complaint comes in following a bust up with a local youth, Ollie. Brian is one step ahead though after spotting Ollie in the interview room and covers his tracks with McKay. Sharon spots Brian leaving the café with Rachel Reid and is troubled even more by what she sees. Patricia has had enough of David and demands he end his relationship with Katie Kiely.

Brian decides to take matters into his own hands following a serious complaint that has been made against him. Angela’s son Conor spots his dad kissing another woman, when he confronts him over the affair, Angela comes home from work and overhears them. Meanwhile David is feeling the pressure from both Katie and his mum, but Katie wins and he starts making plans to run away with his young lover.

Sharon confronts Rachel Reid about her dirty little secret & urges her to tell Liam what’s going on between her and Brian. Rachel meets Brian and tells him what happened leaving Brian furious. Angela realises that there is something up with Conor and tries to talk to him about it. Conor’s younger brother comes in with some wonderful news that he has just been scouted to play for Shamrock Rovers.

As Sharon and Brian investigate a warehouse, things take dangerous turn for Sharon when she is started on by three thugs. As Brian meets the men in the warehouse. Patricia and Claire discuss Michael’s future with him, and the likelihood of a charge of manslaughter, with the prospect of a lengthy stay in jail. Paudge goes to the see Sharon and she reveals she thinks Brian was behind her attack. Meanwhile, back at the station, Adrijan and Sean deal with a man whose daughter is missing, but someone isn’t being completely honest.

Superintendent James McKay comes to see a fragile Sharon in hospital. As Paudge comes to visit Sharon, she tells him of the danger of the situation. Sharon makes a surprise appearance and declares that she won’t be opting for the transfer. Angela is apologetic and is determined to make a bigger effort with her family. Adrijan and Séan get to the bottom of the missing girl.

A vulnerable Sharon returns to work to a hero’s welcome, but Brian is as determined as ever to see her off his patch and decides to step the harassment up a notch. Meanwhile, a cry for help from a man in the cells goes unheard by the Gardaí as they tackle a boisterous stag party. As the man goes into cardiac arrest, it’s not just the stag party who are in trouble.

Darkness hangs over Red Rock garda station following the death of one of the inmates. The station comes under serious scrutiny, and when the Garda Ombudsman arrives, Sergeant Brian McGonigle, Adrjian, and Sean are all questioned over the fatal events. As the crisis develops at the station, Sharon is still struggling at work, and is threatened once more by a persistent Brian...

Brian continues his tyranny of Sharon and when an engagement ring that was handed in to Sharon at the station goes missing, she knows full well that Brian is behind it. Michael explodes when he discovers David is plotting to head to Australia with Katie. Back at the station, Sean is still rattled in the aftermath of the death in custody.

When David tells Katie he can’t go to Australia because he feels guilty leaving his brother, Katie decides to take matters into her own hands. Brian steps up his vendetta against Sharon, he confronts her again, but this time Sharon fights back. The Gardaí are informed that the death in custody was down to a severe heart attack, but they aren’t out of the woods just yet.

Katie’s revelations about events surrounding Darren’s death shock the Kielys, not least the fact that she was sleeping with the enemy. Sharon battles with Sergeant Brian McGonigle yet again after he deliberately sabotages her plans of going home for her dad’s 60th birthday. Patricia is left red faced after Niamh picks up her suggestive phone call which was intended for her dad Liam.

Crime is a game for all the family it seems as David and Michael are dragged in for questioning. Unfortunately Claire can’t protect both brothers from the jail cells and a second lawyer is drafted in to try and save David. A troublesome criminal gives Sharon a serious beating at work. As the Gardaí search the Kiely house for evidence to support Katie’s statement, there are more shocks in store.

D day is approaching for Michael as he’s taken into custody and despite brother-in-law McKay’s words of encouragement to stand tall and be strong, he is numb with fear. The Kielys meanwhile are overjoyed as word reaches them of Michael’s fate. Claire is feeling helpless. Not only is she proving useless in defending her brother but she can’t even conceive.

Nikki and Angela come close to solving the long-standing case of a missing person, but the results prove personally devastating for Angela who struggles to come to terms with what she discovers. Back at the station, Sharon eventually finds the notebook that she had reported missing. Vincent and Katie have a heart to heart about everything that’s happened.

Stressed out Sharon loses her cool when out investigating a complaint by a member of the public. Her behaviour worries McKay and he orders her to take some time off. Just when Sharon is packing up her belongings, Brian can’t help himself and antagonises her further. Sean and Adrian are relieved when they receive news that they have been cleared of any wrong doing in the case of Gerard Curry.

It’s a tough day for all at Red Rock Garda station as Sharon’s accusations send ripples through the air. Under questioning bully boy Brian remains adamant and cool, and insists the allegations are all part of an obsession that Sharon has had with him. But McKay throws a curve ball at him. It’s a case of ‘Good Cop’ versus ‘Bad Cop’ as both Sharon and Brian stick to their guns.

James McKay and Angela Tyrell speak to Liam about the accusations made concerning his daughter Rachel. Rachel gets upset as she confesses to kissing Brian and coming on to him. McKay tells Sharon that Rachel has confirmed Brian’s story. Liam, still in turmoil over Rachel’s revelations, is pushed to breaking point and throws a punch at an unsuspecting Brian outside the Garda station.

Liam Reid is refusing to give up on the allegations made against Sergeant Brian McGonigle. Supported by daughter Niamh, he lets rip at McKay demanding answers and actions against his former friend. A dig at Brian gets Sharon in trouble again, and she decides to take a leave of absence. Conor Tyrell ends up in hospital with a broken leg, forcing him to reveal that he has taken some hash.

Brian McGonigle continues to play the victim with Angela and McKay, and is informed that Sharon will be taking another week’s leave of absence. Back at the Tyrells Conor is adjusting to being at home and on crutches. Suffering withdrawal symptoms he needs something urgently and frantically makes desperate calls to try and get his fix.

It’s the morning after the night before for Rachel Reid. Her outburst has dad Liam more suspicious. He has made up his mind he’ll speak to the Gardaí about investigating further instead. There is more trouble in store when Rachel doesn’t turn up for school, and is reported missing. Both Adrijan and Sean continue to vie for Nikki’s attention while investigating a tricky assault case.

The search is on for Rachel Reid and Sharon returns to Red Rock station to give a helping hand, much to Brian’s disapproval. A discovery on Rachel’s laptop paired with her hoody turning up on a beach leads Gardaí and the Reids to fear the very worst. Tommy and Angela’s secret separation is beginning to take its toll on Angela, especially with Tommy’s latest revelation.

As the search for Rachel Reid continues, Liam is up in arms and storms the station demanding to see who’s been brought in for questioning regarding Rachel’s disappearance. Angela is caught up with the case and Tommy is otherwise distracted, so with Conor left to his own devices at home, his heroin withdrawals get the better of him.

With Rachel Reid still missing, her sister Niamh and Dad Liam agree to do a television appeal. But when Liam is struggling with what he should say, Niamh calls in a surprising person to help, Patricia Hennessy. Sharon is still getting a nasty reception at work and finds a dead rat in her locker. As Liam and Niamh make the televised appeal, it’s not just the public who see it.

Things go from bad to worse for Brian as his daughter Mel gets wind of the rumours. Meanwhile, Patricia continues to battle her feelings for Liam and his heartfelt mention of his late wife in the television appeal doesn’t help her feelings of rejection. Rachel rings Brian, leading him to the caravan park where she tries to convince him to run away with her.

With Rachel still missing, McKay advises Brian to keep the head down but Brian fights to stay in the loop by enlisting Sean and Adrijan to keep him updated. Conor is now in the throws of heroin addiction and fakes a robbery at his own home to fund his next fix. The Reids are beginning to lose hope until a clairvoyant claims he can help find Rachel but McKay warns them not to take it seriously.

As Rachel lies unconscious in the caravan, having taken a lethal concoction of pills and vodka, Brian panics and makes his way to her. Paudge overhears Brian lying to McKay about why he has to leave so urgently and he quickly alerts Sharon to his strange behaviour. The Reid’s are still clinging on to hope that the clairvoyant can help but when it turns out to be a huge scam, they are devastated.

As Rachel recovers in hospital following her horrific ordeal, the Gardaí are anxious to speak to her about the sexual allegations. Brian has been arrested. Rachel is refusing to make a statement and is still defending her former lover. If Rachel doesn’t admit that her relationship with Brian was sexual, then the Gardaí won’t be able to secure a conviction....

The day of reckoning has arrived; Rachel Reid is giving her statement about recent allegations surrounding Brian McGonigle. Brian shows up at the station demanding to see McKay. He is quickly ushered into McKay’s office so as not to bump into Rachel. As Rachel apologises to Sharon, she is also filled in on more of what happened that fateful day in the caravan.

David tries to change Katie’s mind about the baby, reminding her of their rose-tinted image of a family when they were together. Katie moves back in with her family and emotions run high as she battles pregnancy cravings. Ollie Coyne is back and causing trouble for Paudge and Sharon. With Katie still planning on having an abortion, Vincent and Bridget are intent on scuppering her plans. As Vincent delivers a heartfelt plea to Katie, he tells her she has the backing of both him and Bridget. Paudge’s financial problems get worse as his car gets repossessed, scuppering his plan to sell it. Adrijan discovers that Sean and Nikki have secretly been seeing each other.

The net is closing in on Conor following the recent staged “robbery”. When Adrijan and Sean investigate further in the University they discover Conor Tyrell’s name right at the top of a drug list! Paudge’s money worries continue to escalate when his builder catches up with him. Back at the station Adrijan confronts Sean about his dalliance with Nikki causing the two best mates to fall out.

In this gripping season finale of Red Rock, Katie is in absolute turmoil as she arrives at the airport. Bridget and Vincent make a desperate final plea with her to keep the baby. When David arrives, things get very heated. Angela and Tommy head home to confront Conor about his drug habit but when they get there, both are devastated by heart-breaking sight that greets them…

Ollie Coyne reveals to Paudge that he has footage to prove that he was behind the fire in his house. Sean is keen to catch the person responsible for Adrijan’s hit and run but detective Nicki reminds him that this is not his case to solve. Sean catches up with Adrijan’s assailant and a chase ensues. Angela and Tommy as they try desperately to get the money to pay for Conor’s rehab treatment.

The chief suspect in Adrijan’s hit and run case is brought in for questioning. Grilled by Nicki and Sean, he finally confesses it was him behind the wheel of the car that mowed down Adrijan. As Angela shows the first signs of cracking under pressure, Paudge is also veering down a dark path as he meets with the renowned and dangerous Beady Burke.

Katie Kiely attends a baby scan alone, and discovers she’s expecting a boy. However, it’s not plain sailing and David struggles with the news that there are complications with his heart and that he will need an operation when he’s born. David wants to turn to mum Patricia for help but Katie is not so keen. Meanwhile, Paudge meets Beady and a dodgy deal is in the air to buy his silence.

The Gardaí raid the Ridge in an attempt to get their hands on cocaine and cannabis, and take down the criminals behind the sale and supply of the drugs. Paudge, who’s now in cahoots with Beady Burke, the ring-leader, fails to tell him of the raid. Things are looking up for Katie and David. A trip to a specialist regarding their unborn son is on the cards.

Katie receives a very generous offer from Patricia Hennessy to help with the baby, however Bridget and Vincent are less than impressed. Meanwhile Conor is uncomfortable that mum Angela and dad Tommy are concealing the truth about his heroin addiction and time spent in rehab from younger brother Stephen. Sharon and Paudge are called to a domestic. Suspicious Sharon senses something is not right.

When Angela finds Conor acting suspicious in the kitchen, she automatically assumes the worst. Conor has a heart-to-heart with Angela and reassures her that she does not need to worry. Bridget and Keith meanwhile are up to their old ways and resort to stealing to raise money for Katie’s baby. At the station Sharon discovers the real reason why assault victim Ava is refusing to make a statement.

Adrijan is back to work after his accident and instantly in the bad books as he makes a controversial arrest on his first day. Paudge and Sharon are called to the hospital where they are met by a badly beaten Ollie. Elsewhere Vincent starts a new job, much to the amusement of Bridget and Keith. Katie, on the other hand, wishes her Dad luck, knowing that he’s doing it for her and the baby.

The bomb disposal unit is called to Red Rock Garda Station when a school boy brings in a grenade he found on the bus. With the station shut down, the Gardaí set about finding the culprit. Beady continues to taunt Paudge, sending him worrying texts about his mother and this time he goes a step too far. Vincent’s patience with his new job is wearing thin but the family tries to keep him on track.

Love is in the air in Red Rock when Michael Hennessy meets Siobhan Reilly, a sassy free-spirited young lady while on the way to a charity fundraiser. Mesmerised by her, Michael ditches his plans to attend the event, leaving mum fuming. Paudge is on tenterhooks at the station over Beady Burke. Stuck between a rock and a hard place, Paudge has no choice but to play ball with the terrifying criminal.

Michael doesn’t open up the pub and can’t be reached on his phone, leaving Patricia in a panic. When he finally turns up he’s still in last night’s clothes and has some important news for the family. Adrijan and Sean get a warrant to search the Kielys for the jackets Bridget and Keith stole. Paudge gets even more tangled up in Beady’s requests and he’s looking for Garda checkpoints.

When the Kielys learn of Patricia Hennessy’s plans to request a plea bargain to ensure that Michael is trialled for manslaughter instead of murder, they’re incensed. Meanwhile, Sharon and Paudge are called out to a minor shop lifting incident. While there, Paudge bumps into his old pal Beady Burke who shares some interesting information about a fellow drug dealer in the town.

Patricia is still reeling from Keith’s graffiti rampage but when she reports the crime to McKay, he is less than sympathetic. Michael gets a visit from Siobhan who has decided to give him a second chance and listen to what happened the night that Darren was killed. Angela has an unexpected visitor of her own when ‘the other woman’, Ciara, shows up at the station.

As the Gardaí prepare to take on locals from The Ridge estate in a community soccer match, McKay stumbles upon a vicious attack on the way to the game. Conor Tyrell is finally getting back on track and actually starting to enjoy his job at the Neptune Café but when €50 goes missing from the till all eyes are on him. Later that day, Conor and Rachel spark up a surprising friendship.

Conor is forced to explain to Tommy that it was actually Rachel who stole the money from the till to get him off his back. Sharp minded Tommy instantly sees the possible attraction between the young couple and advises him to stay well clear of the 16-year-old. At the station, every effort is being made to find out why Davey was stabbed and bring his attackers to justice.

Paudge is feeling cornered. Beady has a string of never ending jobs for him and the bank is threatening to claim his mother’s house. Adrijan remains unconvinced that Sean and Niamh are an item and gives Sean 24 hours to ask her out on an official date. Sean and Adrijan deal with a man accused of indecent exposure, who claims it was a down to a hypnotist.

All eyes are on Beady and his men as Nikki and Paudge stakeout The Goat pub. It looks as though Nikki is in luck, when Beady emerges, bag of drugs seemingly in hand. Sean and Niamh are finally going out and he’s won his bet with Adrijan. However, his happiness won’t last long after Niamh sees Adrijan handing Sean over the cash and realises that she was only part of a game for the guys.

Sharon and Angela are called out to St Columba’s flats on Halloween. They make their way to what they believe is a woman with a broken ankle. They are in for a shock when they find Jo Black, not only with a broken ankle but going into labour. Beady’s niece Aoife is caught selling drugs by the Guards and it’s up to Paudge to stop her being charged.

With no sign of an ambulance in sight, Angela and Sharon must help Jo Black deliver her baby. A confident Sharon takes charge and safely delivers a baby girl, but when the baby turns blue and unresponsive can they also save the newborn’s life? A frightened Sarah O’Connor returns to the station but when Nikki mentions there may not be enough evidence to jail her attacker.

Davey Webb’s in custody, after being identified as the getaway driver in a robbery. Claire insists Davey has been forced into co-operating for fear that his family will be attacked. Meanwhile Nikki has built up enough evidence to have him charged. Niamh’s jealous steak is evident when she discovers Sean’s past relationship with Nikki.

Grainne Webb storms into Red Rock Garda Station demanding to see her son Davey. Nikki has enough evidence to have him charged but a hesitant McKay offers Davey the chance to avoid jail and become a confidential informant. Adrijan is furious when Joan Curry arrives at the station to provide him an alibi. Beady has avoided two raids and his niece has escaped prison time.

Michael and Siobhan are head over heels in love, much to the dismay of Patricia Hennessy. Patricia may be able to breathe a sigh of relief when Siobhan reveals she’s leaving on her travels in a week to Thailand. McKay is convinced Paudge is the leak and will go to any lengths to prove it. Patricia may have an apartment to offer Katie who is growing tired of living in the Kiely home.

McKay has every guard in Red Rock sweeping the town to bring in Beady’s associates. But when no one speaks up, the two men come face to face in the cells and McKay won’t back down until he finds out who Beady’s Garda informant is. Katie is impressed by her visit to Patricia’s luxury apartment but David pushes things too far when he suggests they move in together.

McKay has called in the Bureau to shake out the mole leaking information from Red Rock Garda Station. Rory Walsh is the new Detective Garda on the streets. Sean isn’t too happy with the arrival of the handsome detective. Katie is surprised to see Rory in The Neptune – she’d long forgotten about him after their brief kiss months ago. Michael prepares to run away to Thailand with Siobhan.

Michael is ready to go on the run with Siobhan to Thailand. His bags are packed and he’s left a note for Patricia who finds it and frantically decides to go after him. David can’t help but notice Rory flirting with Katie and is furious with the new detective chatting up his pregnant ex girlfriend. Red Rock Garda Station has received a bill of clean health from DI Kelly.

A taxi robbery has gone horribly wrong and a young man has been fatally injured. Angela overhears the call-in and can’t help but fear that it’s her son Conor. She runs to the scene and discovers that it’s one of Conor’s friends, Daniel Dooley. Conor is devastated to learn of his friend’s death and feels completely responsible. Rory is suspicious of taxi driver Victor’s statement.

Rachel is furious with Conor who admits they’ve made a mistake by spending the night together. It’s bad news for Davey Webb who has been rejected as a confidential informant by CHIS. He’s incredibly angry with McKay who had promised to protect him. Taxi driver Victor is in the clear after the CCTV footage proves he didn’t harm Dooley. As it turns out Rory has a right to be suspicious.

With Beady Burke under constant Garda surveillance, all eyes have turned to catching gangster Laser Byrne. Davey tips McKay off about a van filled with stolen goods that he’ll be driving. McKay uses this information to plan a sting on Laser but must suddenly change the plan to keep driver Davey in the clear...

Sean and Adrijan are sent to track down Joanna Jenkins who has taken her son out of social care and gone on the run. They find her drunken, distressed and threatening to jump from the roof of a building. An agitated Adrijan provokes Joanna who lunges towards him. Rachel finds Conor at the Pipes about to shoot up. She demands he choose - her or the heroin.

The Webb household has become a prime target for Laser Byrne’s thugs and Grainne Webb is at her wits end. She demands McKay rehouse herself and daughter Chloe – it’s only a matter of time before Laser harms them. The Kiely’s are devastated to learn that the DPP have accepted Michael Hennessy’s request for a manslaughter plea. Preoccupied by the bad news Vinnie ignores calls from work.

McKay offers Davey protection in his home, to the dismay of Claire who believes they are risking their careers. McKay sends Davey back to Galway for his own protection however, when he’s a no show at the station McKay fears that Laser has finally caught up to Davey. With one week until Michael’s sentenced, Patricia brings forward Christmas dinner.

The day of Michael Hennessy’s sentencing has arrived and the Kielys and Hennessys finally face each other in the courtroom. While the Kielys struggle to write their victim impact statement, Patricia is worried that Michael could actually end up behind bars. Elsewhere, Beady makes a reappearance and insists Paudge do more of his dirty work.

The Kielys and the Hennessys are left reeling in the wake of Michael’s sentencing. Vinnie and Bridget are furious that justice has not been served for Darren. Michael might be going to jail but he won’t be there for long enough. A guilt ridden McKay delivers toys to Chloe Webb in hospital but Grainne Webb is furious that he had the nerve to appear.

The Kielys prepare to spend their first Christmas without Darren. They’ll never get their son back, but Michael will be walking free from prison in a year. When Michael is left looking down the barrel of a gun in Harbour Haulage, there can only be one person behind it. Left alone at a bus stop Katie suddenly goes into Labour, with detective Rory the only person around to help.

Vincent comes face to face with his son’s killer – Michael Hennessy. Paudge is in a complete panic, Beady’s taken his Mammy and she’s nowhere to be found. Paudge has no other choice than to alert the station and McKay. At the hospital Katie safely delivers a healthy baby boy. David rushes to be by her side but just misses the birth. Everyone is overjoyed with the new bundle of joy.

Claire and McKay have never been happier. Claire is expecting and they can finally start the family they’ve always longed for. McKay can’t let his suspicions go on any longer and confronts Paudge.
