Great stories, clean and respectable, and sometimes with spiritual undertones. However, starting to get a little predictable: inspector begins by arresting the wrong person, Father Brown get scolded by the inspector for meddling in police affairs, someone dies in every episode - yawn!

A modern reimagining of a brilliant series of short stories. Father Brown is a stylised murder mystery drama series that will feel like home to fans of Agatha Christie and her kin. Looses some of the smarts and quirks of the original stories, but forges great characters that make this series familiar and full of charm, making for enough of a departure so as not to feel like a poor imitation. Very relaxed and enjoyable watch.

I can't get enough of Father Brown. If you want to be transported back to a glorious era, look no further. A series you can binge watch and rewatch at least twice. Fantastic story lines. Wonderful characters.
