Exactly as I recall it, having lived through that exhilarating period. Those of us who were active in the women's movement won't ever forget it. We managed to change the world by being persistent, refusing to go away or to do what we were told. It was a mass individual effort throughout the developed world, and is still moving steadily ahead on the outer edges. In Australia, black on black violence in Indigenous communities is the new frontier. Women's voices raised can defeat fists of more physically powerful figures, and they are now being heard, calm and confident they will succeed.

Fascinating and so well done! A must to watch. I am just amazed it took so long for women's rights laws to be adopted, and how women will fight against such rights.

A smart and engaging reveal of just how much struggle and pain it took to enact a proposition that should be a no brainer to any reasonable person.
