You cannot relate to the main character, he seem to be very shallow on things like details, it seems to be lacking the wow factor that you want, it might be to get people looking for more but can be better. They are also a bit overconfident of themselves. Excuse my English and grammar errors

In many ways on par with Robin hood, average acting sloppy storyline and reasonable wardrobe and scenes. Main character is 2 dimensional. The main flaw of this show (common amongst BBC programs) is it tries entertain a large demographic and so it is occassionally cringe worthy and the butt of dad jokes. Bareable and not spectacular but better than the weather channel.

My favorite new show in a long time, perfect attitude for the story, characters are all endearing, sets and locations stunning. So much swashbuckling its awesome!
