Season 1 episodes (7)

1 Episode 1
Show jumper Sue Lewis is Alan's very first guest, but she's not too keen on the surprise spot 'Up Alan's Sleeve' where she is asked to jump a gate live in the studio. One lucky young man is presented with a tie and blazer badge combination pack for his birthday, while final guest Roger Moore is stuck in traffic.
2 Episode 2
Alan is delighted to meet glamorous agony aunt Daniella Forest, that is, at least, until he discovers she used to be a man. Hypnotist and magician Tony Le Mesmer later straps Alan to the 'Wheel of Death' and throws daggers at him.
3 Episode 3
American singing star Gina Langland is given a special gift from 'Alan's Big Pocket' before they perform an Abba medley together. The 1936 Olympic women's hurdles relay team are re-united to relive the race on a scale model of Berlin's Olympic stadium, and Alan joins in a raunchy routine with dance act Hot Pants.
4 Episode 4
Alan models a range of fashion looks on the streets of Paris, including L'Homme du Sport which features 'ice white shoes, ice white socks and t-shirt with chevron action-flash'. His guests include French chef Philippe Lambert and top international designer Yvonne Boyd.
5 Episode 5
'A Partridge Over Britain' sees Alan chair a serious political debate ahead of the by-election in West Chalfont, but it soon descends into total chaos. The final heat of the Miss Norwich beauty pageant takes place live on the show.
6 Episode 6
The Alan Partridge Playmates dance troupe performs a very special routine to open the show. Alan chats to two lady lesbians before meeting restaurant critic Forbes McAllister who is keen to show off his valuable antique pistols. It turns out that one of them is loaded and the show ends with a real bang.
7 Knowing Me, Knowing Yule
Alan presents a Christmas special from a studio replica of his own front room. BBC chief commissioning editor Tony Hayers is pressed on whether there will be a second series and there is a world record attempt as 'Alan's Massive Cracker' is pulled live on air. Sadly, the big finale featuring Alan Partridge in a pear tree is ruined by the smouldering cracker and Alan lashes out, punching Tony Hayers in the face with a turkey.

About this show

Alan Partridge puts the chat among the pigeons as he hosts his very own TV show. Among the celebrity pigeons he 'plucks', or talks to, are Keith Hunt, the new presenter of This Is Your Life, French chef Michael Lambert, the finalists of Miss Norwich, and Hot Pants, the sexiest dance act in northern Europe. Alan is also strapped to the 'Wheel of Death' as Tony Le Mesmer throws daggers at him, he presents gifts from 'Alan's Big Pocket', and fires a pistol with disastrous consequences live on air.

Very poor chat show. The so called comedian Mr. Partridge brought on ruined a very good Swedish Fred Flintstone joke and then the host killed a man for goodness sake. Definitely not lovely stuff (not my words, words of Shakin' Stevens). I cannot call myself a F.O.P. after watching this dirgepipe.
