More body parts from the same victim are found washed up by the Thames all containing evidence of brutal poisoning. With only a star tattoo to go from on the headless torso the team find it hard to identify their victim. Will Chandler crack the case before the killer strikes again?

Chandler, Miles and the team must act fast as they fear a masked spree killer is on the loose. Chandler's quest to bring in a suspect alive jeopardises his relationship with Miles.

Rupert Penry-Jones stars as DI Joseph Chandler, a detective hunting a modern-day serial killer. In his first big murder investigation, the man Chandler was after was no ordinary killer; he was copying the murders committed by Jack the Ripper in the 1880s. With the help of self-proclaimed Ripperologist Edward Buchan and DS Ray Miles, Chandler sought to catch the killer before he emulated Jack's final kill, never to be seen again. The show is brilliantly written and the writers really do their research and the casting is spot on with Rupert penry Jones and Phil Davis and Steve pemberton, it's just a shame their is not going to be series 5 of Whitechapel.

this is one of the best shows i have watched. Four seasons of great stories writing and acting. Would thoroughly recomnend. 5 stars. Wish they would make another series

Gripping from word go. Can't believe itv haven't recommissioned another series, shame on them, it's fantastic x
