About this show

Is the grass really greener on the other side? Yes, and it smells better too! This is the story of a really desperate housewife. Nancy is a recently widowed mother who moonlights as a pot dealer to keep up her family's suburban lifestyle. And it soon emerges that life in suburbia is anything but sleepy, with customers cropping up in the most surprising of places. A great ensemble cast and a host of dysfunctional characters make Weeds a highly original, satirical and edgy drama with a great black comic streak.

I began watching this series with the second season back in 08'. I remember seeing the craziest and funniest scenes I had ever seen. The humor is in your face and very subtle, because I find my mind and heart saturated with laughter. I am constantly rolling hysterically on the ground while standing, sitting and laying on the couch, while watching this show. Now, six years later I find myself watching the third season, encapsulated. I am older, wiser, smarter and maybe a little more immature than I was 6 years ago, however, I am yearning for the fourth season. I haven't been this excited about a show ever. Well, Breaking Bad was a good series, and the Sopranos too. Fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth seasons will be consumed with relish and mayo. These characters are awesome. Well played and thought through precise & total. It's so human. I am a Christian man and in these terms shows like these are not "edifying to the soul", some would say. However, I laugh deeply inside. This stimulates every fiber of my body. It doesn't satisfy or quenches a thirsty soul, and I could find myself spending my time doing other things. But, it's entertainment. Peace out, Yo...
