Season 1 episodes (3)

1 Pt 1: Heroes and Villains
12/24/96
Rodney's fertility schedule is wearing him down. Such is Cassandra's need to have a baby, he buys her a rabbit, Roger, to care for until a little one arrives. Del has a shipment of Latvian alarm clocks he can't shift and his home improvement grant has been rejected. Finding themselves on a rare boys night out, they dress up as Batman and Robin for a fancy dress party held for a local publican. En route, they prevent Councillor Murray from being mugged. The following day Del is awarded a bravery medal for tackling another mugger, and Cassandra has good news: she's pregnant.
2 Pt 2: Modern Men
12/26/96
Del considers the snip (and regrets flogging Doctor Singh that dodgy paint) and, with the help of a new man's manual, is learning to give attention to Raquel - if only she'd stop talking while he's trying to read. Meanwhile father-to-be Rodders, 'accustomed to the security of an irregular wage', is applying for a new job. Can the Trotter business empire survive without him?
3 Pt 3: Time On Our Hands
12/28/96
Raquel's parents are coming to lunch so Del pulls out all the stops - if only Uncle Albert knew the difference between coffee and gravy granules. The next morning, Rodders' stock-take reveals Trotters Independent Traders Company's assets as an artificial leg, some Showaddywaddy LPs and a broken watch. But Raquel's father knows a bit about antiques and spots something that will change their lives forever. Could it really be that "this time next week" they'll be millionaires?

About this show

Featuring three superb Christmas specials: Heroes and Villains in which the Trotters' van breaks down on the way to a party leaving Del and Rodney, dressed as Batman and Robin, to walk the streets of Peckham City... Modern Men which finds Rodders and Cassandra expecting their first baby and Del preparing for the cruelest cut, and Time On Our Hands where Rodney and Del clear out their garage, only for Raquel's antique dealer father to spot an 18th Century marine watch. Could the Trotters' dream of becoming millionaires be about to come true?

The 1 star is not in relation to the show is a must have classic every episode is a laugh a minute in it's original form but not in this re-edited format as it is missing many crucial funny scenes including copyrighted music so the bbc edited it out so they didn't have to pay the performing rights society any royalties so i will never buy the digi version or any of the box sets because of this re-editing that was done to this show so i will keep to my individual silver case dvd's as they are not re-edited.

When something has ended and they bring it back. It feels like desperation to try an steal some laughs with over used cast & gags. Absolutely not this. Most touching episodes that were ever made. Well done Mr Sullivan
