Everything seems blissful, that is until Mel's mother Angela disturbs them with a panicky phone call about the wedding reception chairs. At the office, Howard's secretary Eve loses the ring down a sink and Howard's colleagues surprise him with a drinks party. But the real surprise comes from Cassie, Howard's bitterly jealous ex-lover.

About this show

This series follows Howard Steel (Ben Miller) and Mel Cook in the week leading up to their wedding. This is a roller-coaster journey through the bizarre and chaotic world of Howard, who consistently fails in his attempts to impress his future in-laws, whilst attempting to piece together a life that is constantly collapsing around him.

My cat and I found this series fantastic. It was the funniest T.V. product we've seen and wish we could see it again. We'd love to recommend this Company to anyone who loves comedy.

This British comedy is fantastic. Lots of laugh out loud moments. With things going from bad to worse for the protagonist. Well worth watching. 5 stars.

An absolute hoot....no canned laughter or studio audience detected here. Yyou don't need to be prompted to laugh.
