About this show

Bored and unhappy as the Lord of Hell, the original fallen angel, Lucifer Morningstar, has resigned and retired to the City of Angels, where he teams up with an LAPD detective to solve crimes. Whether it's a suppressed desire to punish the wicked or something deeper, the very thought that he could care about a human being disturbs him.

Entertaining with some good quality over the top character play by Tom Ellis. Other acting though is kind weirdly bad with Lauren German's Chole a stand out example. She can act fairly okay yet just can't make police detective work. It's like they deliberately miscast all the other roles. Still watchable, its just clear the actors find it hard to play the roles with any kind of seriousness. It's all just a silly joke to them; honesty leaking through.

Like the Irish would have said: Are we glorifying Ol' Nick now, are we? Didn't Saint Michael beat the living sh***t out of this vainful bastard?! Hollyweird and Satanic themes - one after another, it never ceased.

Some might say it's story weak, but the main actor makes up for it by being charmingly witty and likeable. I buy every episode each week.
