Patsy shacks up with Edina after Saffy leaves for college, but the pair find it hard to survive alone. Everything gets significantly worse for Eddy when Lulu decides to join a more efficient American PR company, and when Patsy also gets some bad news they are faced with a major crossroads in their lives.

Eddy and Patsy decide to go their separate ways. Patsy flies to New York to try her hand as a magazine editor, while a lonely Eddy joins a commune in search of her real self and Gran is left at home to become addicted to the shopping channel. It's not long before both Eddy and Patsy realize that life just isn't the same without the other.

Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley return along with a host of guest stars for a Christmas special of the classic sitcom. Patsy is now chief buyer for a new designer shop called 'Jeremy's'. She goes to New York Fashion Week to find ideas but her plans are soon subverted by Edina's search for Serge, Saffy's long departed older brother and their encounter with social counsellor Goldie. Meanwhile Bo and Marshall are running a Christian TV show and Saffy has been observing the world from inside a cupboard to help her career as a writer.

Eddy wants to redecorate the kitchen. Naturally, she calls on her interior designer friends, Bettina and Max, for advice on the new look. Meanwhile, Mother is looking after the baby amid all the chaos, Saffy is doing her best to get Patsy to move out, and Bubble continues to sneer at anyone less posh than her.

Saffy is released from prison after serving two years for forging passports. Funny thing is, she can't recall actually committing the crime. Edina tells Saffy she is welcome to invite her prison friends around, only to regret it when the alarming drug dealer Baron shows up. Turns out Patsy still owes Baron money. A lot of money. If only Patsy actually knew how to spend her own cash, or in fact, if she even has any. Of course, Mother may have an answer. Will anybody take the time to listen to her?
36 2011 Christmas Special: Job

Times are tough for Edina. She doesn't have the clients she used to, the ones she has are jumping ship, and her daughter despises her. It's just another day in PR. Still, Edina has a plan to kill two birds with one stone. The famous French film star Jeanne Durand is looking for representation, and Saffy idolises her. If Eddie can get Jeanne to sing at the Royal Albert Hall (with VIP tickets for Saffy of course), perhaps everything will turn out alright. Now, if only Jeanne could actually sing…
37 2012 Olympic Special

Even the London 2012 Olympics aren’t safe from the disgraceful duo as Eddy and Patsy play their own very special part in this prestigious sporting event. Eddy rents out her house to someone rather important (Hollywood, darling), and the ladies schmooze some rather famous UK athletes, as only they know how.

It has rare moments of brilliance that just barely make it a tolerable watch, but it'll always be a trash show with wretched humour. The two lead actresses are marvellous in their own right outside of this series, but this show is almost entirely carried by the supporting cast.

I love this programme and wanted it for a while but I just couldn't afford it at that point in time... Well not that my financial situation has changed, Ive still managed to just buy the complete collection because of an amazing offer of £13.99! Thank-you Google play.. Ive now got all seasons plus the special episodes!

I'm just gonna say 2 things 1st the prices were way too high so I didn't buy it. 2nd I love the episodes and I watch them on Netflix so that is how I know
