As Dr. Erica Cross plans for a wedding, she is shocked to find out her ex-love Doctor Cintron is now working in the ER. Detective Candice and Detective Ryan detain and question Erica's twin brother Eric Cross about a murder that occurred across the street from his home. After coming to the Aid of her brother Eric, Erica faces the truth about her relationship with Doctor Bradley.

Eric helps his twin sister Erica out of a life-altering situation. While Eric searches, he and Erica commit the ultimate crime together. Dr. Cintron pursues Erica as he wants to mend their friendship. Meanwhile, Eric has an attraction for his new neighbor Gi.

After having made a pact to get rid of the local sex trafficking ring, Eric tortures Chauncy, a street thug, for answers about the missing girl Keisha Jarvis. Doctor Cintron admits his true feelings to Erica which she does not reciprocate. Detective Ryan sends Detective Candice home after she shows up to a murder scene intoxicated. While in the ER, Erica suspects a patient of sex-trafficking.

Lopez hones in on Erica concerning the disappearance of Dr.Lowes. Detective Ryan and Detective Candice suspect foul play in Kevin's death. Eric gets one step closer to finding out who runs the sex trafficking ring. Nurse Brian manipulates to get Erica, the woman of his dreams.

Eric puts his hunch to the test and puts in a plan of action to rescue missing girl Keisha Jarvis. Dr.Cintron and Erica clash about their relationship. Detective Ryan and Detective Candice get a search warrant for Eric's house.

The season finale explodes as Detective Candice and Detective Ryan finally attempt to arrest Erica. Detective Candice vows to attend rehab. Doctor Cintron and Erica can't help their feelings for each other despite the trials of their relationship. Eric tells Gi about his little sister Robin. Eric and Erica have a stand-off with the Police.
