About this show

Joss Whedon, the creative genius behind the feature film "Marvel's The Avengers," one of the highest grossing films of all time, and the iconic television series "Buffy The Vampire Slayer," has co-created Marvel's first television series "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," a dynamic, action-packed one-hour drama that brings back Agent Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) to lead a team of highly skilled agents to investigate extra-normal and super human people and events worldwide.

The show is just okay, Clarke and Ming are great together. Though the show isn`t Shield. Some of the episodes bring in Sam and few other heroes, the rest of the cast are so wooden it hurts to watch. It`s more of a Buffy meets Shield. They ruined Ghost Rider, the Inhumans and some other characters. Wish these writers would open up some comic`s.

Unfortunately, it's virtually impossible to skip the first season due to character and plot set-up, but once you slog through it the second season of this show really gets going. It's a fun Marvel-themed TV show that ties in decently with the movies while still remaining independent (without having to make stupid excuses all the time), and is really starting to show some of Joss Whedon's fun writing.

The first season did nothing in 22 episodes what it couldn't also have done in 6. If it didn't have the Marvel label and the massively overrated Whedon name attached to it, it would have been canned before Christmas. But season two has seen a marked improvement over its phoned-in predecessor so far, and put the show on a course I think could see it become quite the gem down the road.
