Season 1 of Empire was very interesting and had a cast of great actors with exceptional talent. Although some content was a bit unconventional for my taste. I continued to watch the show because there was an intriguing plot. Unfortunately, there seems to be an agenda of the writer's of this show to push the acceptance of same sex relationship drama (you know the kind of things you have an idea about but you'd rather it be left up to your imagination) in Season 2 and that is a deal breaker for me.

I don't understand how any body can rate this under 5 STARS because its the best show on TV since..... Ever I love everything about it. The drama, the romance, the singing. Everything is so unexpected but then expected at the same time. This show makes you think outside the box while at the same time makes you think inside the box. The only problem I have with this show is that I don't wanna wait for it to come back on. I want more empire and now.

It's about time that African-American"s can truly play themselves on television. The writer of Empire is brilliant. He wrote a winner which comes from a place he has been in his life around blacks americans, which shows me he is a wise and fair man. I have waited 55 years to see these changes on television and man it is so refreshing to watch us be us finally. It feels really awesome to watch this fresh new drama. To the writer; I challenge you to bring it! It's truly AWESOME.
