Season-only
Scarlett’s (Emily Iris Robins) new in town, she’s only been in the Valley two weeks and she’s got a reputation for trouble. After a Saturday detention and a blow up with her dad, Tony, (Ben Oxenbould) Scarlett decides to throw a party for Ed (Ben Schumann) in her suite at Tony’s new hotel – the Urban. Ed thought his 17th birthday was going to be an epic failure but this night could change everything. He enlists Luke (Brenton Thwaites), the coolest guy he knows, to invite a select crowd to his party. It’s set to be the biggest night of Ed’s life but when he dashes home to get ready he is ambushed by his family and gets trapped in a surprise party from hell. Scarlett’s gathering goes viral as Luke invites friends who invite strangers. Tammy (Gracie Gilbert) and Ed escape the family snoozefest when they hijack the family car, as Scarlett and Luke get close amidst the now out of control party. Scarlett is starting to enjoy herself until some uninvited guests launch a sofa over the balcony of the hotel, just in time for Tony’s return to the hotel and consequently the cops are called. Tammy and Ed finally arrive at the hotel but Ed’s epic party has been shut down. They join Luke searching for Scarlett who disappeared after Tony went ballistic. Scarlett calls them from somewhere in the Valley, she’s lost and she’s scared. Luke, Tammy and Ed set off to find Scar, leading them to the oval at their high school where Eva (Adele Perovic) lights a ‘sanctuary’ fire – a personal protest that becomes a pagan celebration for the five. It’s a burning moment that binds them together.

The gang is sentenced to hard labour at Scarlett’s (Emily Iris Robins) dad’s hotel to pay off the damage after Ed’s (Ben Schumann) epic party. Tammy (Gracie Gilbert) decides it’s time to act on her impulses and gets her chance when the five hit on a scam to pay back the five grand they owe and have some fun on the way. Ed stumbles across an iPhone belonging to a Gold Coast high-class escort. The kids hijack the hotel limousine and tour Brisbane collecting cash from clients in return for confidentiality. Ed gets punched in the face by a disgruntled client and wants to call off the mission, but the phone’s owner texts and offers an even bigger bounty if they’ll return it to her on the Gold Coast... Road trip. Tammy drops her very first pill en-route, but it’s nothing like she imagined; she gets locked in a bathroom, gets messy and disappears into the glittery streets of Surfers Paradise. Luke (Brenton Thwaites) chases and pulls Tammy under a beachside shower. If it wasn’t for the crowd they’d probably hook up right there. Ed is sent in for the ‘exchange’ but is no match for sultry iPhone-owner, Grace. He emerges without the cash or his pants, but when Tammy and Luke arrive with 13-year-old Annabel from their school, who happens to be Grace’s daughter, Scar hits on a way to bite back and get their cash. The limo is due back and the race is on to return to Brisbane in time. But not before they negotiate a projectile spew, a Tammy meltdown and a furious Tony. In 24 hours the group has had the best and worst trips of their lives.

Eva’s chance meeting with the band’s older music producer Ash (Damon Gameau) turns into a 24-hour whirlwind romance throughout the Valley, as she promises to introduce him to a very particular artist. Luke entertains Charli and tries, in vain, to ward off Scarlett’s advances. Meanwhile, Tammy and Ed’s desperate attempts to escape their concrete cell prove futile, until Phillipa (Ed’s accidental first shag) arrives to save the day – only to get locked in as well. Eva’s romantic journey with Ash intensifies when she reveals her street art identity. At Tammy’s house, Scar makes Luke an offer he can’t refuse ... guilt free secret sex. The sun rises as Ed cops the world’s most awkward blowjob from Phillipa, while Tammy sleeps near by, and Ash leaves Eva for the airport.
