I enjoyed visiting my youthful favorite and Barnabas Colin’s town of Collinswood. The series opening theme music of winds and ocean side currents remains unique. I was a bit upset that the newer series used a score from Excalibur as an opening theme, but my grandson pointed out that it could have been done by the posting entity on YouTube. I waited and watched Mary Hartman, Dark Shadows and All That Glitters. Made for a very accepting youth of gossiping woman, suspenseful mystery and gender 📺💕

This series will intrigue you even though it is about time for its 50th anniversary. When I was a kid in the 60s it scared me but I still wanted to watch it to find out what was going to happen next. In a lot a ways it was a precursor to what some modern daytime dramas are doing now. You will enjoy this.

Then you must check out its origins. While the beginning of this show was just another soap opera, the series really takes off when they add ghosts, and witches to the mix. The soap stories flowed well with the supernatural.
