As a child of 7 in 1967, THIS was my favorite show: It featured a family named Robinson whose father was an astronaunt going into space on a space ship named the Jupitor 2. Along for the ride was the Robot, whose name was Robot; a handsome copilot who was in love with the eldest daughter, and of course the antagonist himself, Dr. Smith. The many adventures of the Robinson family during their journey thru space and time kept me and my sisters and kid brother on the edge of our seats!

50yrs ago, on the anniversary of the Saturn V launch that sent our Apollo Astronauts on a journey that few since, have experienced, I can remember at 12yrs old, a week shy of our 13th birthday ( 'our' being Moms, as well as mine, right!?!), sitting on the edge of the bed, with the old Black & White TV set at arms length away, to be able to change the channel in case the siggy faded out, to another of the 3 we received, (ABC, CBS & NBC) would be clear enough to see, & watch the Lunar Landing!
