About this show

Steven Universe is about the misadventures of a boy named Steven, the ultimate "little brother" to a team of magical guardians of humanity—the Crystal Gems. Steven may not be as powerful as the Crystal Gems. Or as savvy. But that doesn't stop him from joining Garnet, Amethyst and Pearl on their magical adventures and somehow finding a way to save the day!

Honestly this show is the reason I wake up each day. I am not afraid to say I have decorated my entire room with posters, fan art and more. Ordered plush toys and tee shirts. The songs are catchy and meaning full. I love how they encouraged the message of diversity and how it's okay it be different. I recommend this show to anyone that has popcorn and time to sit back and enjoy entertainment to the fullest. All fans should know..."We'll always find a way!" ✨

Incredible. The show has incredible and diverse feminine representation and characters with actual depth, flaws, struggles, character and feeling. It's has themes that show that nobody is perfect, and that's okay. It also has very strong themes of embracing the positive sides of yourself, and actively working to improve when need be. Perhaps above all though, it's had consistent themes showing that there is no-one who is too far gone to be redeemed, and no-one is undeserving of love & friendship

From the beginning this is a show created for kids, but more it's a show created for people looking after kids! It's funny in a weird and complex way that only adults can enjoy while keeping it fun for our younger siblings :) I've binged this a few times as a fun throwaway animated feel good series, and truly anyone having a trash talk about it probably needs to watch Capaldi's Who and leave this fantastic fun show for the rest of us who don't take life so seriously <3
