Cormoran Strike is a war veteran turned private detective operating out of a tiny office in London’s Denmark Street. Though he’s wounded both physically and psychologically, Strike’s unique insight and his background as an SIB Investigator proves crucial in solving complex cases that elude the police.

I had read two of the books and my wife & I binge-watched all 7 episodes, very enjoyable way to spend 8+ hours with my spouse. I'm looking forward to reading book #4 and hopefully they will film that one too (with same actors)

Love the show. Hoping season 4 will arrive on HBO soon. The almost romance of Strike and Robin is a beautiful thing. I'm afraid that this will be too slow for many folks in the US these days as the trend is constant action and sex with is not part of this series. But if you like complicated but good characters and complex cases that aren't easy to figure out this is for you.

I'm a huge Harry Potter fan so I tried these books out and they're wonderful! I was so excited about the show and it does not disappoint!
