Backstage explores the nature of relationships and people in the creative profession under the back drop of the teenage school experience. And although it doesn't really seem like it from first glance, it actually has a lot of complexity. The acting and writing aren't the best, its pretty average for children's tv standards, buts its a very engaging story with a diverse cast. Definitely one to watch if you liked Glee.
