Season 1 episodes (9)

1 In the Offing
Cam Calloway, star basketball player, is signed to the Atlanta team. Announcing his arrival at a press conference, he is embraced by the city with open arms. Followed by his family – sister, mother, cousin and wife and uncle – this entourage is already proving to be somewhat of a liability. Back in his hometown of Boston, some are also ready to cash in on his success.
2 On the Carpet
As the family attends an Atlanta charity gala benefitting an abused child, Cassie overshares information about Cam’s upbringing on the red carpet that has huge implications. Owner Jimmy Flaherty and Reggie do their best to contain the crisis. Uncle Julius takes on a new role as a ‘talent scout’ for Cam. Cam realizes the implications of his mother’s public blunder.
3 How to Build a Brand
Pro athletes visiting children’s hospitals is standard protocol for those players who wish to ‘build a brand’ and Reggie and Missy identify one child to help – a dying teenager who loves basketball. But everything is not as it appears, and Cam is confronted with a dilemma – to do the expected or to fulfill a boy’s wish. Meanwhile, Reggie advises Cam to put the family on payroll to avoid the constant hands out for cash.
4 The Decisions
Missy campaigns to get membership to an exclusive black-founded country club, but Reggie is unconvinced this is a good use of his time – until he arrives and appreciates the non-stuffy atmosphere. But acceptance isn’t a done deal and Reggie quickly learns the consequences of his actions. Cam searches for a church to support, but is surprised when the pastor isn’t accepting of his sister and her lifestyle.
5 Out of the Past
From Cam and Reggie’s Boston childhood, emerges Jay, a talented baller who was derailed by prison time. Reggie and Cam disagree on how to help Jay – Cam’s guilt about succeeding and Reggie’s need to keep him focused are at odds and the outcome says a lot about their priorities. Reggie gives Cassie a budget to house hunt and she finds a stunning home but will she be outmatched in the bid to get her dream house? Cam considers a shoe endorsement deal.
6 Six
Reggie’s ex girlfriend Adina tries to reach out to Reggie, and in attempt to protect him, Cam invites her over to tell her to keep out of Reggie’s life. But Cam wonders if he’s done the right thing. Cam and Reggie have to decide which lucrative shoe endorsement deal to take, vacillating between Under Armour, Nike and a Chinese brand. But they’re unsure if they’ve made the right choice between money and dreams. The limits of Cam and Reggie’s friendship are tested with betrayal and business.

Actually talks about emotion-and-money more than other shows, well my personality matches their direct and frank language, about being forced through a constantly, pressed, spectacled world of pained interactions angling about who to credit and mention helped your gift, drawn from many examples.

Mike Epps and Tichina Arnold mesh well together. At first I wasn't sure but the show gives you a breakdown on showing you how money can be a gift and a curse whether its your family, good friends and those people who claim to know you but by name only.

I watched this show for the first time and I laughed so hard. My favorite is season 1 episode 4 the church scene. The show has great actresses and actors . If you've had a rough day or just need your spirit lifted watch this episode. I laughed until I was nearly on the floor. So get your favorite drink and snack, put your feet up and get ready to roll out of the chair with laughter. They turned the church up and out, lol. 😀😁😂😃😄😀
