This is my FAVORITE kind of tv.. i love to watch people living in the arctic and i really enjoy seeing things being built on the fly ... its so interesting to see the problem solving aspect of it all .. Although alot of it is common sense . I mean homesteads should always have a root cellar, barns for the animals .. bear proofing ect ect the list goes on,i dont understand where these greenhorns think they are living? they should watch an episode of life below zero.. and guaranteed there will be an answer to their issue.. Also this guy thats doing the helping with his family ..was on a show called something like the great Alaska race. Where teams of 3 raced across Alaska with the bare minimums of supplies. He was definitely a crowd fav , but i dont think his team won,or maybe it did .. i must revisit that show.. Anyway.. GREAT SHOW!!! GIVE ME MORE

Thank you everyone involved in this program and production. I have learned so very much from each episode. I am a first time property owner.(less than 90days) As for the Rienes you are a gifted family as a whole. You people are so focused it's beyond believe. Along with giving back from a lifetime of hardships. Everyone involved in this program/production. Re-enforces the Family Structure and Family Unity. It seems as if every episode offers a wealth of knowledge. I am a humble southern man.
