Brilliant picture quality, upscaled from FHD to QHD on a Nexus 10, beautiful, the US at its sophisticated and most elegant. Downloaded my last ep, of season 1, in 4 minutes, using just copper phone line, to WiFi n. This season filmed in UHD, I bet the downscale and reupscale, is exquisite. Wish we could download to our UHD Android TV boxes, in UHD. Something like the Tango, would pump it as sweet as a peach, in 18 months, it'll be as cheap as my Nex 10.

House of Cards is written and acted with nuance and sophistication. It is topical, humorous and at times diabolical. The main relationship played out by Spacey and Wright is the closest depiction on the screen to what I have experienced in real life in the quest for power and status. Their partnership makes the show compelling. I watched Season 2 in one go, the show is so addictive. Potentially the show, a (fiction) reveals more of the truth of political life than any media outlet does. They say that truth is stranger than fiction, but in the case of House of Cards I believe the program reveals greater truths about our Democracy or should that be Corpocracy? Than we wish to believe.

Brilliant! You can pretty much imagine this going on in politics around the world. I bet it's not that far from the truth. Actor Kevin Spacey is all class. I've seen him play many parts, but as Frank Underwood he is awesome! My wife that hates politics loves this show!
