Seasons 1-3 were fun, but by season four, they messed up some of the characters, especially Erica and they seemed to be running out of ideas. By season 5, they tried to fix their mistakes, but episodes were very hit and miss. Season 6, they messed up again, with more misses than hits. Season 7 is just awful. Adam acts far too childish to say he's a high school senior at least and Bev's attachment to him has increased to an unhealthy degree. It almost seems incestous. Ugh. What a shame. :(

This show features spoiled rotten children, begging for money, stuff, and experiences that culminates in a fake emotional love-fest in every single episode. The writers have zero creativity with plot ideas and if the shows are based on actual family experiences, then growing up must have been a cold slap in the face for these kids.

I grew up during the 80's and this show takes me back. I see things on there, that I haven't seen since I was a kid. Plus my family was a lot like the Goldberg's.
