1 From Prussia with Love
8/30/86
When a German damsel turns up in the Nag's Head, she is definitely in distress - nine months' worth of distress. Rodney is all beer and sympathy, but Del sees a way to turn it to account. Could this be the answer to Boycie and Marlene's dreams of a child?
2 The Miracle of Peckham
9/6/86
Feeling guilty about his dodgy lifestyle, Del has a rare religious urge and heads to the confession booth of his local Catholic church. He is about to put some money into the collection box when Father O'Keith cries out that the statue of the Virgin Mary is weeping holy tears. Del decides it's a miracle and it needs publicising.
3 The Longest Night
9/13/86
Del, Rodney, and Albert are mistakenly apprehended as shoplifters at the supermarket. Up in the manager's office they are soon joined by another shoplifter, Lennox Gibley. But Lennox has a gun and he's come to rob the safe. The only problem is, he's 15 minutes late and the safe doesn't open until 8am tomorrow morning. If only he hadn't bought that dodgy watch.
4 Tea for Three
9/20/86
Del and Rodney are competing for the affections of Trigger's young niece, Lisa. When Rodney falls asleep on the sunbed, Del spots an opportunity to scupper his chances and whacks up the heat. A red-faced Rodney then has the perfect chance for revenge when Lisa says she is going hang-gliding. What better birthday gift for Del than to join her.
5 Video Nasty
9/27/86
Rodney has received a £10,000 grant from the arts council to produce a video. He sets about to script the production, but Del has designs on the video gear. And Mickey knows a bird who is willing to star in his own production: Night Nurse.
6 Who Wants to be a Millionaire?
10/4/86
Del's old business partner from the 1960s, Jumbo Mills, returns to the UK shores to strike a deal with Boycie. Jumbo has made his fortune after leaving rainy London for Australia with Del Boy's last £200. In an attempt to pay back this debt 'with interest', Jumbo asks Del to become the new face of his new import business - but it means a move to Australia for the Trotter family.

About this show

Britain's best-loved comedy follows the dodgy deals and money making schemes of the quarrelsome Trotter family. From their high-rise council flat in South London, two brothers - Del-Boy, a crafty, confident wheeler dealer, and the lanky, eternal 'plonker' Rodney - are forever chasing that big business deal that will allow them to escape the grim realities of Nelson Mandela House and live the life of luxury. They remain endearingly undeterred as they duck and weave through setbacks and failures, spurred on by Del-Boy's cheerful cries of 'This time next year, we'll be millionaires!'

Firstly brilliant comedy !! If I was rating purely the comedy it would be five stars, however there are 1 or 2 issues. Firstly if like to say what you get here is the dvd release with a little more (so it's closer to how it was on tv) its possibly the closest release to date. The problem is occasionally people will talk over people. A good example is in Miami twice part 2. There is someone talking over the scene, I think it was 2 scenes overlapping by mistake. Only for about 2 seconds tho

One star is not in relation to the show it is a must have comedy classic every episode is a laugh a minute in it's original form but not in this re-edited format as it is missing many crucial funny scenes including copyrighted music so the BBC edited it out so they didn't have to pay the performing rights society royalties so i will never buy the digital version or any of the box sets because of this re-editing that was done to this show series 1 to 7 are uncut the rest are not fit for purpose.

You cannot beat the antics of the trotter family and friends to make you laugh one minute and then with the next line have you close to tears. John sullivan's excellent writing larger than life characters, spot on observational humour and one liners plus David Jasons Derek Trotter will have you watching again and again.
