I love dad's army it just goes to show that you can not judge what you would have done in the war period. They made not have gone to the war but they more than made up for it looking after the town. Don't judge anybody by what they look like

Dad's Army is quite simply the best sitcom ever made, with Only Fools and Horses being it's equal. Set in a fictitious town on the south coast of England the series follows a band of old men, and a stupid boy, as they form a platoon of the Home Guard, the civil defence set up during WW2 in case of a Nazi invasion. The stories are full of comedy while highlighting the serious side of life during the early years of the war when a German invasion was largely expected.

This is hilarious old fashioned family entertainment. Very disappointed to find that the "Complete Collection " is missing episode 10, which can only be bought via the series. Shouldn't be described as complete. This is a lie, and an attempt to get more money out of the customer.
