But when they find the villa's been sold to none other than Cilla Black, the hunt for Madge begins with some unexpected results. Mateo is introduced to his new cross-dressing workmate Les/Lesley, and Liam develops a crush on a pretty tourist, Natalie.

Noreen returns to Benidorm with her irritable daughter in tow, who manages to alienate the Garvey's and cause trouble at the water park. Les impresses in his new role, much to the annoyance of Mateo who hatches a plan to get him sacked. In an effort to boost Madge's finances, Donald arranges a whip round, and her reaction is typically unappreciative.

Gavin is baffled when freeloading Kenneth suddenly seems to have money in abundance, and when he sees him taking strange men into his room his suspicions go into overdrive. Mateo prepares for his first water aerobics class, but when Donald has a funny turn in the pool he is forced to ask Les for help. The Garvey's get a shock when they are approached by a gangster, who tells them that they have taken on Mel Harvey's debt, and they find themselves in a make or break situation as they attempt a very risky bet to pay off what they owe.

The resort is hit by a freak storm and Les has arranged some bingo as entertainment. Pauline's boredom leads the reformed alcoholic to hit the bottle and the drunken insults follow. Natalie is still having man trouble as she juggles the attention of both Liam and Mateo. Both of them are determined to win her affections - who will she pick?

The sun is shining in Benidorm and spirits are high as eighties night approaches, with special guests Bananarama. There is exciting news for Madge as the chance to lease a bar in Benidorm comes up, but will she be brave enough to take the plunge? Les persuades Mateo to go on a double date, with truly disastrous results, and as Bananarama prepare to take to the stage they find themselves with an unexpected new member.

Events take a dramatic turn when Donald goes missing and his clothes are found on the nudist beach, along with a note for Jacqueline. Preparations for the launch of Madge's new bar are in full swing, until local idiot Lucky Kev turns up with free tickets to a local theme park. Pauline turns to alcohol again as she anxiously awaits the outcome of her divorce and Troy turns up, bringing life-changing news.

Despite their disparate backgrounds they all have one thing in common - a quest for getting value for money. You could buy all of the episodes separately and still pay less than buying them in a set. Get you're act together, Google!

As you would expect from the costa blanca. My idea of holiday hell, but very funny. The last series not as funny I thought and has lost some of the old main characters. Got to see mel in his thongs though.

Anyone who wonders what a cliche Brit abroads holiday parody is like needs to take note on comdey series Benidorm. The characters are seriously funny n lifelike - a credit to comedy acting
