Mighty Cruise Ships - Season 3 episodes (6)

1 Koningsdam
12/1/20
Koningsdam is the newest, largest, and most technologically advanced ship in the Holland America fleet. It's longer and wider than its predecessors, which makes sailing through the narrow, winding channels of the Norwegian fjords challenging, but the experienced captain and his bridge team are more than equal to the task. Join them on their 15-day tour of Norway, featuring spectacular views of towering glaciers and cascading waterfalls, steep train and bus rides, and hikes that climax with picnics on sheer cliff tops.
2 Viking Longship Gefjon
12/8/20
When it comes to exploring Central Europe by river, Viking Longship Gefjon delivers the cruise of a lifetime, passing centuries-old castles and vineyards and docking at the heart of distinctive cities like Vienna, Passau, and Cologne. Hop aboard for this winding voyage as we travel up the Danube and though the Main and Rhine rivers en route to Amsterdam. Then see how the crew and this custom-built ship take on the unique challenges of these historic waterways, including narrow passages, low bridges and even a lightning strike.
3 MSC Regal Princess
12/15/20
Regal Princess is a 1,082-foot-long floating palace, featuring a soaring central atrium and the first-of-its-kind glass walkway that juts out from the ship, over the waves. Join us on as we experience what a tour of the Baltic Sea is like aboard Princess Cruises' largest ship. For guests, it's 11 days of gourmet delicacies, late-night parties, and stunning excursions through fairytale villages. For the captain and crew, it's an ongoing challenge to overcome dicey weather and tricky passages while still making time to have some fun themselves.
4 Viking Star
12/22/20
A cruise on Viking Star is a feast for the senses, offering stunning views of bucket-list destinations, nightly five-star dining, and full Scandinavian spa experiences. Be our guest on this 12-day pleasure cruise, as it sails out of the Mediterranean and up the west coast of Europe, passing through the Strait of Gibraltar and visiting Portugal and the beaches of Normandy before docking at its home port in Norway. Then follow the captain and crew as they battle gale winds, 13-foot swells, and tight deadlines to deliver this first-class voyage.
5 Symphony of the Seas
1/5/21
The mega-cruiser Symphony of the Seas has features that rival the biggest resorts on land, with more than 2,700 state rooms, a water park, Broadway-style performances, an ice rink, and 23 different restaurants. But providing seven days of full activities and fine cuisine at sea plus thrilling European excursions comes with a lot of pressure for the crew of 2,200. Witness life on deck and below as we sail from Barcelona to the French port of Marseille to Naples aboard the biggest cruise ship in history.
6 Marina
1/12/21
When it comes to taking in the treasures of the British Isles, you can't do any better than Marina. This cruise ship-the largest of Oceania Cruises' fleet-gives its 1,200+ guests the chance to see the legendary castles and landmarks of Scotland, England, Ireland, and Wales, while enjoying five-star dining and first-class accommodations. For the captain and crew, delivering the trip of a lifetime comes with adventures of its own, including tight squeezes, pitch black conditions, and engine issues that threaten to bring the cruise to a halt.

About this show

Season 4, Episode 1: I was actually on this exact cruise when they were filming and it was the coolest thing ever. Norwegian Joy is probably my favorite cruise ship that I have been on and I am overjoyed that it got its own Mighty Ships episode!

Those floating germ factories dump their trash in the ocean and are terrible for the environment.
