Fringewas mysterious, funny and mindbending with parallel worlds mutants and the two bald men in black made it kind of strange! And that's was my type of sci-fi adventure series that I enjoyed for five seasons and wished for more! The actors parts couldn't have heen better written and the acting cast were great! Would love more of this series!!

PSA NOT FAMILY LIBRARY ELIGIBLE: It's a great show, my favorite in fact. And it could be because I already I bought the complete series with a payment method that was not the family one. Yet, it says it is eligible for adding to the family library here on the Google play store, but when you mosey over to Google TV it says it is not eligible. I found this out after I re-purchased the first season to share with my family and found out it couldn't actually be shared. Please fix, I love this show

I didn't hear the hype when Fringe came out, which apparently focused on how they vetted their episodes with scientists to make everything plausible. Let's get one thing straight, this is not like "The Martian". Fringe tries to be as crazy and gross and improbable as they can. Which, made me roll my eyes a bit, I've heard from friends that bought the hype, that it was unbearable. However, I didn't notice anything major that broke the universe's internal consistency, which is always good. This series is a lot of fun. It runs the gamut of sci-fi themes like time travel, mutations, and future-tech. The characters are unique, and the story line is complex, but fairly easy to follow if you're paying attention. Some of the other reviewers said they didn't like season 5, probably because the other seasons are heavily, but not exclusively, episodic, where the team solves a tech-related crime each episode. Season 5 breaks from this and becomes a serial sci-fi that ties all the other seasons together.
