I watched this back when it aired on TV. LOST had just finished not long before this started. So, many people seeking a good mystery/drama filled show turned in. Unfortunately, it didn't really live up to the hype. By the time I heard it wasn't going to be renewed for a second season, I was reading the book and liked it a lot more. My advice: read the book.
