1 The Nightclub

Stockholm in May 1968. Nina and her daughter Christina, who is now around twenty, prepare for the opening of “Ninas” – the DK restaurant that’s to be relaunched as a nightclub and discoteque.
2 VIP

Nina goes to see Peter and starts a row with him as he and Ester have seduced one of her DJs into working at “Royal”. “Ninas” are without a chef, so Gustaf and Bellan persuade Nina to meet with Calle.After some persuasion Maggan joins Lilly on a visit to an illegal gay nightclub.
3 Creme de la Creme

John and the left-wing group are short of money, and they decide to steal wallets from rich clients at “Ninas”. The newspapers have caught wind that Maggan, Stockholm’s city commissioner, has been to an illegal club.
4 Resignation
11/18/19
Christina goes to see Uno, and confronts him about spying on John and her and the others. John and the left-wing group know that the police are on their trail. Money disappears from the daily takings at “Ninas”.
5 Homecoming
11/25/19
Three years later – it’s 1971. Uno is contacted by Ivar Strid, his old boss at IB, who tells him that they’ve managed to trace the left-wing group. Gustaf surprises Nina when he returns from Africa, where he and the family have been living as missionaries for some years.
6 The Elms
12/2/19
The kitchen at “Ninas” hasn’t had any deliveries of produce. Calle makes a call to check with the supplier and finds out that he hasn’t been paid. John and the left-wing group plan an attack on an international conference to be held in Stockholm in a few weeks.
7 The Countdown
12/9/19
Christina is practically a prisoner with John and the rest of the left-wing group. “Ninas” is on the verge of bankruptcy. Mirko Kostelic contacts Peter with a bold initiative: he wants them to put aside their old conflict and jointly buy “Ninas”.
8 The Future
12/16/19
“Ninas” is under desperate financial pressure, claimants have started to turn to the bailiffs. Astrid is becoming weaker and calls Gustaf to her side, she wants to tell him something before she dies.

About this show
