In the premiere episode, we meet five women who are climbing their way to the top of the red hot LA food scene. Acclaimed pastry chef Waylynn has sworn off dating bad-boy chefs, but a secret admirer may encourage her to break her rule. Private chef Nina has aspirations of becoming a restaurant chef, but when she's put to the test at one LA's busiest kitchens, she questions if she has what it takes. Petite firecracker Jessica has risen to the top at famed restaurateur Harry Morton's latest venture, and is poised to soar even higher if she can make her presence known among all of the big boys. High-powered, influential food blogger Kat has a unique relationship with culinary publicist, Brenda. Although they may need each other professionally, they don't always get along socially. When Kat rattles off how many cute guys she's dating in the food industry, Brenda uses it against her at the worst possible moment. In an industry dominated by men, these women need to stick together...but can they?
2 Hanging with the Big Boys

With LA Food & Wine Festival just days away, Nina and Jessica scramble to make a big mark on the local food scene. When faced with a last-minute change to her menu, Nina's first impression may be her last. Meanwhile, Jessica pushes her team to take Fuku Burger to the next level, but is her motley crew ready for the big leagues? Then, Waylynn celebrates Fonuts' one-year anniversary with an interview for EaterLA with Kat. But excitement turns to anger when Kat can't keep the facts straight.
3 Show & Tells a Lot

Nina's feeling isolated in LA so she turns to longtime family friend, Lauren Hutton, for advice and throws an adult "show and tell" party in the hopes of strengthening her friendships. Waylynn relives a bittersweet memory by putting on her dream wedding dress she never got to wear. And when her "no-chef" policy is challenged, will she cave in? Meanwhile, Brenda and Kat attend a very exclusive charity dinner where Kat is the flirty center of attention, but when Kat starts getting texts at the table, Brenda makes an accusation that puts Kat on the defensive.
4 Reputation is Everything

Jessica's father visits from out of town and she is eager for his approval, which is never easy to receive. Waylynn breaks her "no chef" policy when things progress with Andrew. Lindsay is blindsided when Jessica makes a snap business decision. Meanwhile, Brenda drops a bomb when she confronts Kat about her reputation in the LA food scene. Will Kat take it to heart or will she feel attacked by her so-called friend? Finally, Jessica receives an email that puts her entire career in jeopardy.
5 Bottle Shock

Jessica reels over the loss of her job, while Brenda suspects Lindsay is at the root of her troubles at work. Kat arranges a girls' bonding trip to Santa Ynez to explore the food-to-table phenomenon happening in the local food scene. The trip takes a turn when Brenda confronts Lindsay in front of all the women. And a seemingly harmless comment by Waylynn sends Jessica running off in tears.

Before leaving Santa Ynez, Jessica confronts Waylynn over the comment that made her break down. Back in LA, Brenda attempts to smooth things over with Lindsay. And Jessica, still lost after losing her job, finally calls her father in the hopes of getting comfort and support. Meanwhile, Kat seeks advice from Waylynn over her alleged reputation. How will she react when Waylynn doesn't hold back?
7 Taste Test

When Waylynn takes a trip to New York City to look at potential new Fonut locations, she also sneaks in a romantic getaway with Andrew. Meanwhile, Jessica looks for a job and hopes her former co-worker Clint can help. After a dry spell, Brenda goes out on her first date in two years and her rusty dating skills might cut things short. Finally, Nina has 48 hours to prepare a pop-up dinner to impress important people in the LA food scene.
8 The Final Course

With just 24 hours until her pop-up dinner, Nina scrambles to improve her food after receiving less than stellar reviews from her friends. When a confrontation between Lindsay and Kat creates a firestorm, Kat vows not to attend Nina's dinner. With her reputation on the line, Nina frantically makes the meal of her life for 50 of L.A.'s most influential foodies.
