Charming artstyle and very interesting lore for a Superman show. I'm very new to the DCU with this show actually being what finally pulled me in! This did encourage me to explore other media within the DCU and however, and I do worry a little bit how this show holds up next to older titles. My biggest concern with this being a short series is the pacing. Season 1 seems to have been about maybe a month in universe at most? Hard to say and I might have to rewatch later.

I love that this interpretation of "mild mannered Kent" was to make him into a wholesome himbo. I'm so here for it! I'd love to see more shoujo-style suit transformations, though. It was a smidge under-utilized. Either way, I also enjoyed the character dynamics, and I easily welcome the diverse cast, being AAPI, myself. I think that Studio Mir did a great job with this one, too, but that's to be expected given their work on The Legend of Korra and the like. Great stuff! Can't wait for season 2!

A very fun Superman cartoon which allows him to be the big blue boy scout we all know and love. Lois and Jimmy are also great (though Jimmy hasn't been developed as much yet), and have great dynamics as a trio or pair with Clark. It feels like a very solid modern version of superman by people who clearly love the original.
