It made me cry bitter-sweet tears of joy from a few episodes. that being said its a shame it is much shorter than the original series, and much faster with the plot (since each episode is ~11 minutes in length.) Still, if you enjoyed the original series and want to see what happened after the movie its a good purchase. I would NOT recommend to children under the age 14. The show actually has very serious emotional and mental material as well as being fairly mature in its expression of them (No profanity or anything like that, just very serious and complex mental issues like depression, self worth, etc.) 5/5 would cry again.

Maybe he needs a friend to help clean up messy situations and fix the mind of the people so they can see what is happening to themselves and to others as they destroy the real beauty of our world and God needs some thank you for all he has done already. So much has been done on this terrafirma to make us happy down here. Just look at His hands work all the fruits, vegetables, flowers, houses to live in and all kinds of clothes to wear/shoes fancy coats n hats to wear and protect us from weather

A bulk of the episodes seem to focus on cathartic resolutions, and I’m happier for it. There’s a ton of feel good energy going around from Volleyball to Amethyst, etc... It’s a good watch so far, and I can’t wait for more! =‘D Edited past series' end: The series makes a turn from cathartic feel-good fantasy to bitter-sweet, and it shows us how a chosen one's traumatic childhood could impact their future or adulthood. It still carries that cathartic feeling through its twists and shows what in my opinion is a good representation of one's self-destructive desires when dealing with trauma alone. It goes through fantasy equivalents of real-world avenues a person might take in seeking help, then at the end, it reminds us for the better that humans a social creatures. When all is said and done, I still love this show. I began watching it around 2016 (I was super late to the party due to my fear of trying out new things, a result of the trauma brain's comfort in familiarity, I'm sure), and I fell in love with its art style, music, and story-telling. This show, in my opinion, keeps that spirit alive, even if the direction they take is different. This franchise quickly became my favorite Western cartoon, and it still hold until this day. May SU live on in comics, games, or in fan-made materials. Thank you, RS and the Crew-niverse!
