Season 2 episodes (22)

1 Confession
9/17/91
While coordinating an investigation on corruption in construction, Detective Greevey is gunned down in his driveway after his first day of Grand Jury testimony. His partner Detective Logan crosses the line in order to obtain a confession from the man suspected of murdering Max Greevey, and is also faced with breaking in a new partner. Stone finds that his prosecution is placed in jeopardy because of Logan's actions.
2 The Wages of Love
9/24/91
A double homicide of an older man and his younger girlfriend casts suspicion on both the ex-wife and the former boyfriend of the murdered duo. Once the ex-boyfriend is cleared of suspicion, the investigation begins focusing again on the ex-wife with the dead man's murdered son holding the key to the mystery.
3 Aria
10/1/91
The last words "I didn't want to do it" of a young actress found dying of a drug overdose leads the detectives to an aggressive stage mother and a pornographic movie producer. While the detectives discover that the mother dominated her daughter's life to such a degree that the mother even sent her daughter to a drug dealer for drugs to calm her during production of a pornographic movie, the mother still cannot see how she was to blame.
4 Asylum
10/8/91
When a man is stabbed in front of a coffee shop detectives are left with three witnesses: a drunk, a transvestite hooker and an elderly woman. The threesome cannot agree on details of the crime, but signs point to a local, delusional homeless man as the killer. While detectives investigate the homeless man's defense, Stone and Robinette work on striking an unusual deal with the accused.
5 God Bless the Child
10/22/91
A couple faces trial after they deny medical help to their daughter based on their religious beliefs and Stone's prosecution hinges on whether or not the parents wanted to call for medical help. Things take a turn when the investigation uncovers another child that died under similar circumstances.
6 Misconception
10/29/91
A pregnant woman is attacked on her way home and consequently loses her unborn child. The victim did not see her attacker so detectives investigate the person they consider to be the most likely suspect, her boyfriend, while the prosecutors prepare a murder charge for the death of the fetus. Reed Diamond (Homicide: Life on the Street) guest stars.
7 In Memory Of
11/5/91
A missing child case is reopened after 31 years when the remains of the missing boy are found in a building being renovated. Detectives begin by questioning the victim's mother and previous tenants of the building -- no small task since the boy went missing in 1962.
8 Out of Control
11/12/91
A female college sophomore claims she was raped on her way home from a fraternity Halloween party; however, she also claims to be engaged to a fellow student who denies such a relationship. Detectives have only party-goers' costumes to go by, but manage to track down a suspect. When the case goes to court ADA Robinette's tactics backfire in the favor of the defendants.
9 Renunciation
11/19/91
When a teacher's low-life husband is run down on a Manhattan street, it seems like a simple case of hit and run. Detectives Logan and Cerreta soon connect one of the wife's high school students to the car used in the crime. While the victim did have huge gambling debts, the real motive turns out to be an affair between teacher and student.
10 Heaven
11/26/91
A fire at an illegal nightclub leaves dozens dead, mostly illegal aliens. When detectives interview survivors they find out that an evicted patron had recently vowed revenge. However, prosecutors follow another lead that points to a competitive fellow club owner.
11 His Hour Upon the Stage
12/10/91
A tuxedo-clad corpse turns out to be the body of a Broadway producer who's been missing for over five years. The man was apparently shot, then frozen in a meat locker for years. Detectives Logan and Cerreta uncover a mob connection, while prosecutors find a drug connection as well.
12 Star Struck
1/7/92
When a famous soap star is found near-death in a park, detectives arrest an obsessed fan. However, once ADAs Stone and Robinette visit the victim -- who is slowly recovering from a crushed skull, damaged voice box and is painfully teaching herself to walk again -- they become determined to get a conviction, not an insanity plea.
13 Severance
1/14/92
The fatal, broad-daylight shooting of two ad agency employees in a Manhattan parking lot intrigues Logan and Cerreta. The murders appear to be professional hits, but for what reason? After they trace the crime to Canada, prosecutors are stymied by new developments during trial. Plus, ADA Stone "persuades" a confession out of a defendant -- to spite an old nemesis, who happens to be the defense attorney.
14 Blood is Thicker...
2/4/92
When a socialite bride is found beaten to death it appears to be a robbery attempt gone awry. However, detectives question her husband after learning that the victim may have been having an affair. The couple's children, and missing piece of jewelry, wind up being the keys to solving the crime.
15 Trust
2/11/92
The body of a teenage boy with a fatal gunshot wound to the head is discovered in an abandoned shed. Detectives trace the murder weapon to a man whose son was friends with the victim. The boy claims it was an accidental shooting that he was trying to hide from his father, but classmates reveal evidence that shoots holes in that explanation. Meanwhile, prosecutors plan to charge the gun owner, regardless of whether or not he pulled the trigger.
16 Vengeance
2/18/92
A nude, strangled female body found in an elevator shaft reminds detectives of a similar killing six months earlier. With few clues -- including a Polaroid film wrapper -- Logan and Cerreta try to find the common link between the crimes.Later, ADA Stone must prosecute a suspect in this high-profile case, despite the largely circumstantial evidence.
17 Sisters of Mercy
3/3/92
When a sixteen-year-old high on amphetamines accuses a nun at her Catholic rehab center of sexual molestation, it seems highly improbable. However, detectives soon discover enough evidence to support the teenager's sordid story. Could a nun be capable of such things, or does the center's male director know more than he is telling?
18 Cradle to Grave
3/31/92
After a baby dies in a subzero apartment, detectives question the baby's mother, who blames the building owner for deadly living conditions. Prosecutors seem to have a clear-cut case against the owner, until a shocking discovery about one of the tenants takes things in a new direction.
19 The Fertile Fields
4/7/92
A man's burning body is revealed to be a local diamond merchant who was beaten to death, then burned. Four black youths seen in the area are linked to the victim's son and suspected of the brutal murder. In a racially tense investigation, detectives and prosecutors work with little evidence to implicate the victim's business partner.
20 Intolerance
4/14/92
Gang retaliation seems the obvious motive when a brilliant Chinese science student is shot to death; however, evidence points to the family of a student in competition for a prestigious science award. While wading through several lies today by the family suspected of the killing, Stone must also try to keep the press from labeling the murder as race related.
21 Silence
4/28/92
When a young, gay councilman is stabbed to death, detectives suspect blackmail. While the victim's father tries to thwart the investigation, the only way the investigation will succeed is if one of the blackmailer's victims will testify. However, the editor of a local gay publication offers new evidence.
22 The Working Stiff
5/12/92
A corporate raider, known for his profitable and hostile company takeovers, is shot in his brokerage house and killed. Detectives investigate a corporate union, which leads them to a particularly bitter ex-employee. However, a new suspect -- and acquaintance of D.A. Schiff -- soon emerges.

From what I've seen on the Internet, Google Play (or YouTube, depending on where you watch it) has the highest-quality copies of Law and Order seasons one and two, for the United States. If you're in the US, as of the time of this posting, iTunes will only provide you with sub-par 580p copies in a 16:9 format for both series. Season two on this site is provided in a 4:3 format, but it is a fair trade-off for the 1440x1080 resolution. Now we just need the rest of the show, i.e. seasons 3-15. You can't get them anywhere in the States. You'd have to purchase the antiquated DVD boxset. People in Europe and Australia, for some licensing reason unbeknownst to me, can purchase *every* season of Law and Order in widescreen 1080p quality via iTunes. Why is an American television program easier to watch abroad than at home? It makes no sense.
