1 Great White

Jackie Quinones is white-hot to prove herself as a cop and avenge the death of her best friend, Junior. She will more than get her chance when Frankie Cuevas teams up with his ex-con cousin Jorge to shake up the drug trade on depressed, off-season Cape Cod. With three OD'd teens and top cop Ray Abruzzo off the force because of Renee's betrayal, it is up to Jackie, and her new partner Leslie, to halt the flow of the deadly new drug labeled "Great White."
2 Girl Power

Leslie's ambition matches up perfectly with Jackie's drive and they make a good team -they solve a murder! Sgt Alan Santille leans hard on Frankie's former righthand man, Osito, and he also solves a case. Frankie and Jorge continue to move forward but Charmaine, their New York connection, is a wild card. Undercurrents abound: Jorge sows distrust between Frankie and Renee and Jackie and Leslie deepen their partnership on and off the force.
3 Fresh as a Daisy

During a stakeout, Jackie abandons Leslie for a fiery confrontation with Frankie and Jorge. Later Frankie ambushes both Ray and Renee for his own sadistic pleasure. Unbeknownst to Frankie, Charmaine makes a deal with Osito. Jackie and Leslie take a break from their sordid world for a nice normal dinner with Ed and Linda. Ray, humiliated by Frankie to the depths of his soul, begs Alan for any chance to feel like a cop again.
4 Daddy Issues

Jackie and Leslie are working together like a well-oiled machine, getting closer to Frankie and Jorge, and getting closer with each other. Ray and Alan are also getting their old groove back as they track down Charmaine in Boston. When Jackie accompanies Ed to a showdown with his old nemesis, "The Scrodfather," she meets up with her own father, Rafael. This encounter plus working Jorge's stripper girlfriend Daisy as a CI churns up a lot of emotional history that threatens Jackie's sobriety. But right this minute Jackie is riding high.
5 Dot Dot Dot

Jackie and Ed partner like old times to track the smuggler of great white sharks for the biggest bust of Ed's career. Ray and Alan's renewed partnership is short-lived and Ray realizes no amount of good work will get him back on the force. Jackie, texting up a storm with Leslie, sends one text too many which crashes her world in an instant. And when Frankie's world is threatened, he proves he will always do what needs to be done, even to those closest to him. But in a shocking turn, Renee proves herself equally ruthless and deadly.
6 Behind Every Skirt is a Slip

It's the day before Thanksgiving and Ray and Renee are deep in their love bubble, swearing to love and trust each completely-but they are both already so full of secrets. Leslie has shut Jackie out and Jackie takes her misery and pain to Ray, Ed, AA, sex, and work. Not finding comfort anywhere, Jackie heads home. Charmaine loses the only thing that made her 17-year-old life worth living and now she is beyond reach. Frankie is so wracked with anxiety over Jorge's disappearance it even touches Renee, and she does almost all she can to allay his fears.
7 Crack is Wack

It's Thanksgiving but the drugs and despair don't let up. Without Leslie, Jackie slips off the wagon and back into her druggy, dysfu nctional childhood home. Frankie, riding an ocean of anxiety, takes Renee to the point of no return. Charmaine seeks comfort for her loss from her Uncle Wayne, but he just sets her on an even more dangerous path. Ray is going all in on a case no one wants him on, and Alan presides over a traditional family dinner but even that is interrupted when Jorge's car is found.
8 Huston, We Have a Problem

Ray is so close to getting rid of Frankie, getting Renee, and getting his job back he just needs to finish maneuvering Jackie and Renee into place before they find out they are being played. Frankie's obsession with finding out what happened to Jorge leads him to a showdown with Osito. Frankie also lays down the law with Charmaine in very murderous terms. And when Jackie's big stakeout is a bust, she must choose how to move forward -Ray's way or Alan's way?
9 Small Craft Warning

Renee risks her life one last time to give intel to Ray about Frankie and Charmaine's carfentanyl run. Based on her lead, Alan sets a trap for Charmaine that covers the entire Cape. Ed, Jackie and Ray cover the water, Alan and Leslie take the bridges and Renee is MIA. If the plan fails, all roads will lead Frankie right back to Renee.
10 Fool Me Twice

Charmaine's capture together with Osito's info and Chuleta's testimony crack open the whole "Great White" operation. But a few mysteries remain and without Charmaine's direct testimony against Frankie, Alan's case is not airtight. Jackie and Leslie are assigned to get Charmaine to cooperate, but Charmaine has one last desperate move up her sleeve. Ray's plan to get his job back, bring down Frankie and reunite with Renee, succeeded but it is a complicated victory. Osito's plan to get Janelle, get his job back and get Frankie may work out better. And Jackie goes from the hero that cracked the Frankie Cuevas/Charmaine Grasa case to the zero who let it slip through CCINU's fingers.

About this show

Set in beautiful but bleak Cape Cod, "Hightown" follows one woman's journey to sobriety, overshadowed by an unfolding murder investigation. Jackie Quiñones, a hard-partying National Marine Fisheries Service agent, has her free-wheeling life thrown into disarray when she discovers a body on the beach - another casualty of Cape Cod's opioid epidemic. To deal with the trauma, Jackie takes the first steps toward sobriety- until she becomes convinced it's up to her to solve the murder. Now at odds with sergeant Ray Abruzzo, an abrasive but effective member of the Cape Cod Interagency Narcotics Unit, Jackie starts to spiral. And she's not alone - Ray himself crosses more lines than he can count in the name of the investigation. The two of them, along with everyone else connected to the murder, all circle each other, and as their lives crash together, we're reminded just how complicated - and deadly - our addictions can be.
