Season 1 episodes (3)

1 Elusive Elephants
5/7/14
Season-only
After 50 years of isolation, the lush mountains and diverse forests of Burma are finally open to exploration.. and exploitation. It's up to a team of scientists and filmmakers to convince the Burmese government these lands need protection. Join them on the first leg of their expedition, as they track down one of Earth's most-endangered mammals: Asian elephants. If they have any hope of saving these gentle giants, they must prove they're still around. But for such massive animals, they prove to be surprisingly hard to find.
2 Nature's Lost Kingdom
5/14/14
Season-only
Surveying Burma's mountains and jungles, and protecting its wildlife isn't just hard work -- it's dangerous. Join our team of biologists and filmmakers as they cut through the remote Salu forests and enter an illicit black market in order to find the country's disappearing sun bears, clouded leopards, and golden cats. They need to prove to the government that Burma's vanishing creatures, great and small, need protection, even if it means putting their own lives at risk in the nation's unexplored jungles and lawless outposts.
3 Chasing Tigers
5/21/14
Season-only
Throughout Asia, tigers are under siege and on the brink of extinction. Burma may be their last hope -- if it's not already too late. Join our team of scientists and filmmakers as they venture deep into the Burmese jungles to prove tigers and other endangered creatures exist here and need protection from hunters and commercial development. The more animals they find, the more proof they'll have. But it's a tall order: A tiger hasn't been caught on film in this area in years, and this is no time to be camera shy.
