Loved the relationships. Loved the acting and though not a full representation of lesbian life it was a good portrayal of a small group of friends. Jeniffer Beals as Bette is steamy, sexy and vulnerable. Kate Moenning l'm in love with her Shane character (and who isn't). Leisha Hailey as Alice is funny, sassy and poignantly refreshing. Laurel Holloman as Tina turns her doormat character into a sensual, strong, vibrant woman who you could fall deeply in love with. Great characters. Great guest stars. Great cast. Miss the show very much. Recomend it highly.

While not even close to the reality of what the LA area lesbian community is like, the series is still complex and very entertaining. It's probably the best series I've ever seen that is geared towards women, created by women, that addresses many of the issues all women deal with, gay and straight.
