About this show

After the death of her truck-driver husband, a New Jersey housewife and her 12-year-old son head to Hollywood to follow her dream of stardom as a singer. But when the car breaks down in Phoenix, and with two mouths to feed, it's a waitress job for Alice.

Before I learned of all the evil in the world, I use to never miss an episode! Now decades later it can take me back and I enjoy a simple slice of life with real problems and real friends for real people. Everything right as rain in 30 minutes or less.

Love the show but only able to download the last 12 minutes of the show. First thing I ever bought on Google and I got screwed.

It takes me back to a better time in my life the chemistry between the characters is always fun to watch.
