About this show

Living in the same universe as The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead is a gritty drama that explores the onset of the undead apocalypse through the lens of a fractured family. Set in a city where people come to escape, shield secrets, and bury their pasts, a mysterious outbreak threatens to disrupt what little stability high school guidance counselor Madison Clark and English teacher Travis Manawa have managed to assemble. The everyday pressure of blending two families while dealing with resentful, escapist, and strung out children takes a back seat when society begins to break down. A forced evolution, a necessary survival of the fittest takes hold, and our dysfunctional family must either reinvent themselves or embrace their darker histories.

Disappointing from the get go. Had high hopes for this spin off. Athough I've stuck with it, I really couldn't care less what happens anymore. To be honest I don't think I ever really did. Its just lacking that 'something'. The acting is hammy and getting worse with every new episode. The writing is nonsense and all out of ideas. The characters are all unrelatable and I'm sick of the endless & corny 'i know what you're going through I've been there too' speeches. Time for the producers to pull the plug I think..and that goes for the whole franchise as TWD has also jumped the shark for me.

S1 - 3 were very good with s3 in particular being a highlight. Unfortunately with new show runners, s4 has become a pale imitation of the show that it once was, by killing off 2 of the lead characters, and bringing in a new cast that are completely unlikeable. Add to this, the arrival of the least interesting character from its parent show, poor scripts, a laughable villain, and incoherent plot devices and its time to say goodbye to what was once a decent zombie show. A shame.

Is slowly becoming too woke. Now the leading lady doesn't want to kill the dead for some pointless hippy dippy reason. Zombie apocalypses are all about the gore, needs less woke more Negan
